I can't believe I just wasted almost 2 hours of my time reading this whole thread. This is too funny. I have some genuine dog-bitten shoelaces with no nibs that I am willing to sell for $5. Any offers? No lowballers please...
Oh and Tabby's not alone, I don't have a job either.

I would, and will, take my car to Souk in a heartbeat. His integrity was never in question in my mind. Gotta go--my 9 year old daughter Annie needs some new clothes. We'll take the high road to Marshall Field's.

Souk, I guess I'm one of the people who "didn't know your integrity."
So now you've posted an unattributed blind item from someone who may or may not exist and who complains about a deal he doesn't have the b@lls to confront Shaun about? He even says Shaun doesn't know they had a 'negative deal?' And that's supposed to impress us with *your integrity?* Wow.

Well, something good did come of all this. I actually took a look at Souk's site and saw some stuff I've been thinking about buying...
Bad Blue! Must finish the shovelhead first!!!

WTF? Can anyone try to summerize this thread in the spirit of Cliff Notes?

Souk got mad at Shaun for calling him a lowballer in another thread in the classifieds without evidence of Souk lowballing the seller. Souk and Shaun have not gotten along in the past because Shaun suggests better prices to sellers while Souk would just like to make an offer (usually lower than Shaun's suggested price) to the seller of the item. Souk and Shaun had an arguement over this in a previous thread in a classified ad. Souk got very angry this morning with Shaun and decided to post his rant about Shaun in OT. Shaun and Souk have been arguing ever since along with a couple of other guys who try to make sense out of the arguement. I'm missing a lot of details, but that's about it.

Souk asked for a price on a ducktail. Shaun claims Jesus asked him to butt in and dis Souk by playing value cop. Souk gets tired of Shauns **** and starts a new thread expressing his innermost feelings about Shaun. I mentioned nipples. People pissed on Shaun and Souk. Shaun gets self righteous and retaliated with a lot of words that meant nothing. Island didn't say anything. Souk got support from other people. Shaun claimed to get support from other people. I thought about nipples. Techweenie doesn't believe Souk. Mike asked for Cliff notes.

Shaun, you have admitted to trying to "help" the poor sellers who know not what they do. Many think this "helping" is BS on a for-sale forum. (I think it sounds condescending to the "poor" seller)
Souk just voiced his disgust for your actions and called you on it. That is all he is guilty of. You have gotten in you're share of cheapshots in this "community" as well. To me, it seems clear that you are the one who actually did something you're "community" took offense to. Everyone here at one time or another has probably gleaned some useful knowledge from Souk (thanks Souk!). I doubt anything you say in this thread will change anyone's opinion about Souk. IMO, you will only lose respect here by dragging this along. PS: The above, is my honest, serious opinion. You do not know how hard it is not to call you a lefty, panty sniffing, deal spoiler, as we are in OT land right?

I sell stuff for cheap on the forum. In fact, i gave Souk some stuff for free. I know i could get more from ebay but I also get stuff for cheap/free and get lots of info and a sense of community here.
Sides, it is only polite to stay out of someone else's deal while it is going down *anywhere*. alf

I had dinner with Souk last week along with other Pelican types when I was in Chicago on business. I was impressed with his knowledge and even more what he has done on his car and the other 911 that was driven there that night. After meeting him I would certainly trust him. To tell the truth I wish he was a lot closer so I could have him work on my car! The other party has already shown himself to be un-trustworthy on the forum. You make the choice you wish but its a easy decision from where the majority of us stand. JoeA
