Ya, like "you are my b!tch"...The tension in that picture is palpable.

Now this one, on the other hand, is much more interesting.

Good job Clinton!...Talk about a political crony who was unqualified for the job.

That's about all I can contribute to this thread ....

67% of the American people disapprove of the manner in which the President has handled Iraq

100,000 (to use the lowest possible number) show up for a peace rally

400 (yes 400, as in hundred) show up for a pro-war rally

And all the Pelican Bush-lovers can do is assert that Iraq did have WMDs (you bet it did, now com'on take the little pill and you'll feel better) and post pictures of some nut jobs on the mall

Sad to see that even though their party bears huge responsibility for the mass murders perpetrated by Saddam, and they don't even refute it here, the republicans just want to talk about Clinton.

This is the case.
Mul, who do you think is the back bone of the Republican party? Joe Sixpack. If it wasn't for him voting against his best interests, conservatives would have been out in the cold long ago.

Looks like Joe Wilson decided to pull Saddam's nether-appendage instead...The same can't be said of Shelby.

Nah, Wilson told the truth. Shelby and his political party helped Saddam murder hundreds of thousands of people - but hey they made alot of money doing it!

Saddam would still be killing people and in bed with his complicit UN buddies if Joe Wilson and the Democrat party and the UN had their ways.

He might never have possessed WMD were it not for the Grand Old Party. He bought conventional weapons from Russia and China and several others but they had enough brains to stop short of selling him WMD - they were within his range, being on the same continent an all.

But capitalists, they will sell the rope to hang themselves, and they have.

I will make it my mission to be the unbiased PPBBS reporter for the next BIG protest in Washington. I'll go down and get photos of everything I can and maybe interview some poeple so we can get a perspective on who's going to these things. Should be fun. You guys have to keep me posted on when the next one is - there's small stuff here all the time.

We see eye-to-eye on this one...The UN's capitalizing on a totalitarian dictator with plans to arm nook-u-lurly and chemically should make us all call for a dismantling of Kofi's UN, and for sanctions on Germany, France, Russia and China...who fiddled their cash-register violins while Saddam's power-lust burned hot with the fuel of illicit oil contracts.

But where are the world-wide socialists regarding the UN's scam of "oil for food"?...They are silent and by their silence they are complicit...In fact, had they their way they would still be fiddling the oil-for-food polka.

Through the 1990's, Halliburton did billions of dollars in business with Saddam during the period of sanctions and OFF. American oil companies had as much oil credit fraud as any country. Oil companies are next to banks on the list of who's *******-up the planet - no matter what country they are from.

The Oil-for-Food programme achieved its core mission of providing humanitarian relief to 27 million Iraqis. Caloric intake rose by 83 percent, while malnutrition rates in much of the country were cut by half, and some 76,500 mines were cleared. On the health front, enough medicines and vaccines were imported to eradicate polio and drastically reduce other often deadly communicable diseases, including cholera, malaria, measles, mumps, meningitis and tuberculosis. The capacity to undertake major surgeries increased by 40 per cent in the centre and south of Iraq .

The tragedy of the program is that capitalist slime (oil companies) literally kept a genocidal dictator in business.

The m.o. of right-wing corporate fascists around the globe.

Fascinating apologia for Saddam Hussein's butcherous regime.

Care to allow me perusal of your citation?

Nowhere does that post scote apologia - you have a mental dissociation that fascists share. It's a defense mechanism that keeps them from developing complete cognitive psychosis when their past is exposed. You need help and you will surely get it. I'm the help, you see.

Avowal is not mine to convey, but such a bonhomous petition would surely have been granted..

Not correct at all - I'm gonna go out on a limb here. If $200b had been spent on peacefully getting rid of Saddam, he would be gone.

The complicit UN buddies and the Democrat party didn't want a pre-emptive war based on unsure intelligence. That is all.

Interesting coming from a socialist who defends a fascistic Stalinist dictatorship that filled mass graves, slaughtered men and women for sport, had rape rooms, torture chambers and prisons for children, mutilated innocents, cutting off their hands, feet, tongues, and used a wood chipper for dispatching dissidents...It's a defense mechanism that keeps you from developing complete cognitive psychosis...Some call it projection.

We tried for a peaceful resolution that amounted to 17 violated UN resolutions (resolutions the UN had no desire to enforce because of the oil for food scam), we gave him an ultimatum that lasted for approximately 1-1/2 years and he persisted...Enforcement was necessary as he was biding his time to get sanctions lifted and resume (according to David Kay), with the fortune he amassed with his UN buddies, to rearm nuclearly and chemically.

If we did take your advice, Cam, and take the peaceful approach, the human chippers would still be in operation, the rape rooms would be open for business, the children's prisons would be full, the mass graves would be filling up quick...Why didn't the UN stop these attrocities upon their inspections?...Did they not see them?...Were they blind?...Or were they just a show of enforcement that had no interest in stopping the madman's human rights violations and weapons development?

Human rights was never really a primary concern of the UN, as some of the greatest butchers in the world sat on the Human Rights Commission.
