So I think I am going to have to head over to Orange County Farm Supply, and buy a live catch trap.
I use 'em here...raccoons. Easier than shooting them in an area where I need to be sure of a secure .22 round backstop. I turn 'em loose on a county owned acreage a few miles from here that has woods, a canal running through it. I'm sure the coons will be happier there than in my back yard. The downside of the live trap? Be sure of your targeted animal. There was a time when Cindy trapped a skunk...the .22 had to come out then. Took days for the smell to leave. Another plus of the live trap is that you can turn neighborhood pets loose.

When my brother and I were younger, we were visiting a cousin in Minnesota who was into blowguns. We were having accuracy contests & whatever kids do, and getting pretty decent but we still couldn't hit a fly. Finally, my bro and I started catching flies, then preloading them onto the darts. Cousin couldn't figure out how we kept hitting flies, one after another after another. Determined as ever, some crazy sixth sense kicked in and he started pegging the little bastards without cheating. I just about ***** a brick.
