i used to collect digital watches from the time they first appeared in the early 70's until around the late 80's. what's really funny, but used to horrify my mother, was that when i was a very little boy, i gained this odd fascination with those plastic filters at the ends of common cigarettes..when we'd go to department stores, she had to pull me away from the ashtrays where i'd be found 'harvesting the booty'.. lol.

I collect old gas pumps from the 40's to 60's. The real ones that are big and heavy. I've got about 8 right now(not restored), but with this Porsche car taking more time, ??? I just like the look of the old gas stations from the past when getting gas was a treat. The bell rings, the windows were washed, and the globe lit up at night to get your attention.
