What do you collect??

What do you guys collect.?
I'm not talking about collecting things for investment or monetary value. I'm talking bout silly stuff like matchbooks covers, statutes of frogs, brand specific things, crap like the above that gather dust on your shelves.

My main things are, old GI Joes, firetrucks, lighthouses and seaplanes.

It may seem obvious but I collect...Porsches. Got three already and I'd have more if I had more places to park them.

Aside from that...I've collected coins since I was a kid. Rarity is not a big factor in my selection of coins - rather I see them as historical artifacts. So historical relevence is important to me. If the coin bears the likeness of a key historical figure or represents an important era or event, then it gets me excited.

Tickets.

I've saved every ticket from every movie, plane ride, train ride, amusement park, play, musical, etc. I've ever been to.

I get tired of crap, so every so often I throw it out. I have a lot of music gear, but less each time I move. I seem to have settled on a functional number of cars, motorcycles, instruments, guns, etc. If I buy something new I usually sell something. So I suppose I don't "collect."

I used to trash pick when I was a kid though. Every thursday and friday were trash day on the way to school (I had a really long walk, and the pickup day split was halfway through the walk). I'd bring all sorts of ***** to class on those days...old lawnmowers, empy wine bottles, etc. Ahh, those were the days...

Yup, and then it connects to the 'pumper' truck.

Mostly implements of death & destruction.

I'm also inadvertently collecting motorcycles. Gonna have to do something about that...either get the non-runners running or get rid of them.

Things Japanese, abacii, automotive stuff, used to collect comics, coins and rocks. My parents still have all of my old comics in Ziplock Freezer bags. Almost forgot, Hard Rock Cafe T-shirts.

Empty beer bottles (that used to be full)

Dust

Grey hairs

Cynicism

Birthdays (although I don't want any more)

Debt (seems like it anyway)

Porsches in varying states of operability

Bicycles, kind of inadvertently (how the heck did I end up with five?)

T-shirts (I have some great 'uns)

Beer coasters from various bars/taverns

Venerial diseases (not really)

Newspaper clippings and real estate magazines of more places we'll never be able to afford at this rate. . .

Pens (also inadvertent - ever notice how one day you have 10 and seems like the next day you have 20,000?)

Old receipts and bills and "file-ables" in various states of organization - mostly in piles and boxes all over the place.

Old computer software (digital junk)

Cat toys (I spoil them rotten)

Other crap I'll probably think of. . .

Watchs and guitars...

Can't afford guitars anymore (prices have skyrocketed - good for my collection but not good for a buyer) so swicthed to inexpensive watches.
