And the idea that he's a make-bleieve conservative? not surprising. Quite a few are -- that's where the money is. Conservative books are bought up in large numbers and used as 'premiums' for subscriptions to conservative newsletters... it's guaranteed income.

Limbaugh is a radio entertainer. nothing more nor less. Going back 10 or 12 years, Rush started taking himself seriously. He and Gingrich teamed up to scuttle a 'lobbyist reform' bill and did so effectively. I think the power started to get to him after that.

I've listened on & off for about 17 years, and anyone who takes Rush seriously just hasn't a clue.

In fact, I'm reminded--I had this story about three weeks ag--maybe it was before Christmas, maybe it was as far back as November--but there were a couple of drug convictions out in--I think it was a Colorado court. And these guys had--had done some really bad stuff, and there were mandated federal sentences for the crimes they had committed. And the judge apologized to the criminals while sentencing them because he thought it was too severe. He apologized and the com--the community was outraged. So we've gone from a judge sentencing a mother who makes her child beg six months in jail, to judges apologizing for getting dope dealers and crack dealers and drug salesmen off the streets with too severe a sentence.

I believe anyone who espouses extreme views regarding morality, sex, ethics, etc. is usually hiding something. I consider myself a moderate conservative with common sense. There are many examples of hypocrites on both sides of the political arena such as Rush, Dr. Laura, and that preacher busted for soliciting prostitutes.

Rush is an excellent speaker and entertainer....that's all I see him as. I loved listening to Howard Stern too. Again, he was an excellent speaker and entertainer.

I have a bulging disk between my pelvis and L-1. It pinches off my sciatic and has caused atrophy in my my right and left legs. Want to tell me about chronic back pain???

I at least had an ethical doctor that knew pain pills would not fix the problem. Guess what aggrevates it? Being a fat ass like Rush! Then you have no choice but to sit around and feel sorry for yourself while popping pain pills.

My doctors orders? Tight abs and NEVER a pot belly. I have to be at fighting weight for the rest of my life.

Sexually Harass? That would mean one participant in an incident would not be a willing one. As far as I know Monica was willing and happy.

Have to laugh here...listening to Rush one day, I heard a lady read him the riot act. She told him he had two choices. One was to try to develop a meaningful relationship with a lady in his age group, and become a loving hubby. (Rush has 2 divorces under his belt. Anybody would be 'married out' after that) The other choice was to waste his life away with a series of meaningless relationships with young girls interested only in money. (Yeah, she probably meant hookers.) Rush then said something along the lines that after considering these options, he's decided to opt for the latter. Not ALL conservatives are Bible thumping prudes...some of us, like myself, are fiscally conservative. Frankly, if a few hookers in the oval office would keep Bush from spending like a drunken Democrat, I say bring'em in! Problem is, I don't think that would help.
