Follow Up On My Distributor/Ignition Problem

Thought I would let you all know how things turned out. First off a big thank you to Vinny, Jeff, dhoward, Hugh and John70t for taking the time to help me work through the problem.

Jeff was first to make the correct diagnosis, the new coil I had purchased did not have an internal resistor and was the reason why my points burned up. I got another coil clearly marked "no external resistor required" and some new points. The Willys Wagon is running like new again! Whoo hoo!

Wow that's nice! How about some more pics? I don't think ever seen one that nice. They are usually rusted to nothing, or beat to hell.

Wow is right! Cleanest '60 Willys Wagon on earth. More pics, please. Interior too. Congrats on getting her running again.

Don't know anything about these, but can we try and guess Kurt? Please?

Gear shift
Low ratio select
Four wheel/two wheel drive select
Diff lock

Am I close?
Who else wants a go?

You got three out of four! Anyone else want to take a shot at it?
