Coincidentally, the guy in this photo named Steve with the Capri, emailed me yesterday looking for the Magazine and Issue number that had his Car in it.

Anyone have the link to the old news cast video on YouTube where they were on Mulholland showing the racers and they showed Banning’s 911 ripping around?

I can’t seem find it now...

I was thinking we could send retired Officer Harrison a Christmas card and let him know we still think fondly of him.

:D Do it if you can find him. He would probably be retired by now... or riding a desk.

I loved seeing this guy in the video... I played this section at half speed to get the screengrab... it was hilarious... he sounded like he was drunk as a skunk:

Wow, that's quite a substantial graveyard:

[QUOTE=Heel n Toe;11519527]:D Do it if you can find him. He would probably be retired by now... or riding a desk.

I remember someone mentioned he lived in Granada Hills or Simi back then and long retired or passed. He looked like he was in his 60's in the late 80's. Guy is probably 90+ by now.

Last time I saw him was in 1987. We pulled up at Grandstands and he was doing reports in his car. We were minding our business. He was riding solo and in a very brief conversation about bright driving lights and recalling a certain Barracuda from years past smiled, said goodnight and left. The guy never forgot a car or a face.

If I could find him I would even hand deliver that card.

Then we have the other regulars of Mulholland law enforcement... Sergeant Ronald Roarke, Officer Jim Thompson. Hell we should have another reunion.

The password isnt hard to figure out. Hint: "Read like an assassin".
As far as the moderator? It wouldn't be a secret website if it wasn't kept a secret would it?

Whoever made the password for MulhollandRaceway.Org must be a genius and think all of us are too. I can't seem to figure this thing out. Any more hints about what the Username and Password are? So far I've found:

- Think mathematically...Read Like an Assassin
- No_Prisoneeeeeer
- Cervantes smiled Spain's chivalry away; A single laugh demolished the right arm Of his country.

I've tried decoding these into numbers, reversing them, and a few other things. But I can't seem to get it. Do you know the username, if so that would be a big help. Thanks!

Along time ago, I contacted them and got the password then. Looked around, and they
Seemed like an active group, setting up meet locations to drive good road. They gave my short 2.1 mile Turnbull a poor rating as an enthusiast road to drive, because it isn't a road for that. They said to short. When it is a point to point for time.

I would send them a PM.

What do you old timers think of the current Touge/Canyon Running Scene

Was Little T popular in the 60s-90s as a running / racing road ?

What years was Chris Banning active on Mulholland ?

I met Old Man Gary in 2016/2017 on Mulholland. Hope he's doing well. Haven't seen him since, except for one time when I went to Big Boy Burgers for some food and he was there in the lot with some
Older dudes

Did you ever know of or get a chance to visit or run the Angeles forest canyons ?

What do think of today's Canyon Running Scene ?

Here's a time attack video of a record breaking run at a 4 section of a local canyon road . . .

After reading the recent posts I began to wonder about Gary. I found a couple of fairly recent items of interest about him.
