Not LDS, but spent a good chunk of time in LDS-land---Logan Utah.
I will just say that it was an...um....experience...... and leave it at that...

This ties in well with the "Emergency Management" thread, LDS keep a years supply of food on hand for emergencies. I keep a list of mormans in my area and a 357.

 I frequently work with a company whose office in the SLC area is staffed mostly by LDS'ers. One of their head developers actually tried to recruit me into the church during a business meeting. I told him I was Jewish. His response was to ask if we still sacrificed live animals, as one of his neighbors had recently lost their goat. This is what a massive inbreeding program gets you...
