Isn't it time, then, to de-criminalize marijuanna and keep those dollars working here in the US instead of building Columbian highrises?
Besides being a necessary medicine for many glaucoma/aids/cancer patients to maintain a quality of life, hemp also was a viable industrial product along the lines of corn, soybeans, and peanuts. It was once used for the sails/rope/burlap sacks of the Mayflower, and it was once used for acid-free paper pulp.....our constitution is printed on it.

It can only exist until the voters discover that they can vote themselves largesse from the public treasury. From that moment on, the majority always votes for the candidates promising the most benefits from the public treasury with the result that a democracy always collapses over loose fiscal policy, always followed by a dictatorship. The average age of the world's greatest civilizations has been 200 years. |

the only thing that makes these people prisoners are the people that keep them there. imagine if all the guards need to get home to check on family, or come down sick. they may as well throw the doors open.
