Hey,

Actually I'm doing pretty well.

Just felt like thinking out loud for a bit. Helps to clear the cobwebs and keeps me from mumbling incoherently to myself which scares the wife, kids, and cats.

tummyape, i like that. May have to start using it.

I missed this thread because I was at Hooters drinking Hefeweizen and scarfing hot wings... and yes I go there for the atmosphere. Hmmmm wonder if they have wifi? If they do maybe P-O-P, Milt, and I could meet and post from there while drinking too much beer... wonder what cab fare is from SP to LB and back? Have to remember to stay out of the cigar shop around the corner from there... dropped $70 on stogies I don't really need...

My cats breath smells like cat butt...

Tonight should be good.

Wife had to run out to a business meeting so dinner for me was a leftover garlic smothered pan fried steak, 3 swedish meatballs, 3 buffalo wings and some brocolli.

Stay tuned, may get interesting later.

Time to put some tears in this beer:

Met a girl out mountain biking on Sunday, chat her up a bit and actually get her number. This is the Bay Area, there are no eligible women here, much less ones that both single, attractive, and outdoorsy. I wait until today (2 days) to contact her, but I screw it all up.

I turn chicken**** and email her an offer for lunch instead of calling her. I've been single so goddamned long I guess I just couldn't take being turned down again, its like a weekly occurance out here. The day passed and I still haven't gotten a response.

The Bay Area is to men what LA is to women: everyone is perfect and no one is good enough.

I need another drink.

Matt,

Sometimes if you bablefish your post into another language it sounds happier.....try french.

I think the two day rule is effen silly, I've been married for 19 years so have been out of the dating scene for some time, but I would try contact sooner.

Don't worry about the turn downs. You should call her even at the risk of sounding desperate. (in an Arnold S voice) Do it know....call.

Now ...... lets get some damn cowbell!
