I had a G23 and a G19C. Now I have a Sig 228 and 210. The Sigs just worked better for me.

Nostatic, I think the other P220's you're thinking of were .38 super, not 9mm. But I could be wrong. Glocks are are durable as they get, but they just never really did it for me the way SIG's do. My polymer SIG is one of the best bangs for the buck I've ever owned. I got it used for around $450, but it came with $200 worth of ammo, four hi-cap. mags and two Fobus holsters. After I added night sights, I figure I still have less than $200 into the gun and it's a great shooter.

Most people have a difficult time double tapping traditional double action autos like Sigs. I have owned three Sigs and they have all been sold. I find the Glock much easier to double tap, and in tactical competition, like I shoot, that's important. Glocks sit lower in one's hand too, which helps with recoil recovery.

Sigs are well made and accurate.

Well, I think I'm going to get a G17. I'm trading one of my shotguns, my Remington 597, and my Ruger P95 for a brand new one. Looks like I'll have to get myself a Ruger 10/22 at some point...

G17 is a good choice. I shot one today for the first time, nice piece. Shooting the g35 and 17 back to back was a good comparison, the 17 much more controllable. Fun gun to shoot.

My wife has a Glock 17 and shoots it well. Something about that original Glock model; it just works! (well, they all work). It has very low recoil, fits the hand well, and is a joy to shoot.

Springfield Arms XD40, has the addition of a grip safety as well as the trigger safety.

I had a real nice HP, New in the Pouch...sold it, missed it and bought another New in the pouch. Net gain for me was about $30.

I really like my High Power. It's a Fabrique National with the SFS system installed from the factory, and Belgium made. It will make a single ragged hole in the target. It does still need a little trigger work.

How do you like the SFS system? I am thinking of having it installed on my Detonics CombatMaster. The idea would be to allow cocked and locked carry w/o a cocked hammer digging into ribs and snagging on clothing.
