LOL, I use to own a Datson King cab pick up. I loved that truck!! If she really wants to mess with the kids heads, have her bring a 8-Track in and ask them what it is While auto-crossing a buddies 70s Vett (complete with 8-track & tapes) I asked one of the guys kids if he knew what it was (a new type of video tape, LOL) His look was priceless when I popped it in and he heard that 1st Clunk

My bottle opener is riveted to a small magnet. It lives on the refrigerator door. It is the old fashioned kind, with a bottle opener at one end and a can opener at the other end. Some day, somebody's going to ask the purpose of the sharp end.

I recall when aluminum cans came on the market.

I can also recall when there were three network channels and one PBS, a grand total of four channels no matter what equipment you had. Reception was grainy. TV was B&W. I could "see" the colors in my mind. Creature Feature. Midnight Special. Dark Shadows. Gilligan. Beaver. Mr. Ed.

I can also remember when it was virtually impossible to put $5 of gasoline in a vehicle, and the tanks were all twenty gallons.

When I bought my street 914 a few months ago, I took my daughter for a ride for the first time. She got in and I said put the window down. She looked at the door and looked at me and said, "How?" She's never cranked a window down before.

Most everything I have is old. My feather pillows must be 60-70, my quilt closer to 90. my lastest model car is 33 and the oldest 70. Below are pics of a potato masher and a lemon squeezer that must be 70-80 yrs old. I'd bet very few here have seen one of those. I've got WAY too much old stuff like this.

Johnco, we actually use one of those strainer things to make the applesauce for the big Thanksgiving dinner! (well, I shouldn't use "we", my frau does the hard work!) My father-in-law is an antiques guy and we have all kinds of that stuff too.
