TABS Buffet Diet

YEP... I'm on a Buffet Diet, and I am officaily down 20 lbs in 2 months. There is nothing like being able to put your snount in the old feeding trough of a Buffet and pig out on garguation portions of food heaped high and still lose weight. OINK, OINK...

Most likely in the gutter in some alley somewhere. If it weren't for mother.......

Sidenote, good job. Life's too short already, so why hasten it....??? It's sure hard though...

My mom had to change her diet because of her blood sugar, and now (year later) she doesn't even like that much sugary stuff anymore.....

No SUGAR, and reduce the intake of Carbs to 40gr to 80 gr a day on average. That means no Rice, Potatoes, Pasta, Sugar Deserts or in general Breads. Low Carb Bread and Tortillas are OK within the limits. Veggies are chosen for lower Carb content.

A rough running total of Carbs consumed during the day is kept in mind.

Yep. Those carbs are the trick. It cracks me up, in the store, you see "diet X" or "sugarless Y" ....then you look at the package, and it's loaded with carbs...

Even though indeed, breads need to be cut, whole grain breaks down slower....so even though the packages may have the same amount of carbs listed, the whole grains will not affect blood sugar as much...

Well, Tabdula, good for you! I need to start paying attention now, since smoking cessation slows the metabolism.....
