Salvia Divinorum. Wow! This is messed up.
Short term, hard core hallucinations. I've done a lot of things back in high school and college, but this stuff is wicked. The best part, it's still legal!
I'm pro pot, but geez, I have been watching a few videos on Youtube and can't believe what I see. Shows some mild effects... This one is longer, but he really trips out. Wikipedia entry: "Salvia divinorum originates from the region of Oaxaca in Mexico where it is still used by the Mazatec Indians, primarily to facilitate shamanic visions in the context of curing or divination, but also remedially at lower doses to treat ailments including diarrhea, anemia, headaches, rheumatism, and a semi-magical disease known as panzon de borrego, or a swollen belly.[10] It was first recorded in print by Jean Basset Johnson in 1939 as he was studying Mazatec shamanism.[11] He later documented its usage and reported its effects through personal testimonials.[12] It was not until the 1990s that the psychoactive mechanism was identified by a team led by Daniel Siebert.[13] Flowering Salvia divinorum Flowering Salvia divinorum The history of the plant is not known, but there are three possibilities as to its origin. Since it is found in one small area and only one indigenous group uses it, it is either native to this area, is a cultigen of the Mazatecs, or is a cultigen of another indigenous group.[6] Wasson theorized that this plant was the mythological pipilzintzintli, the "Noble Prince" of the Aztec codices.[3] However, this theory is disputed." For those with kids, be careful! |

Some of my friends liked it, but those who liked it havent really experiemented at all past pot, so salvia was probably more intense and revealing to them. I admit it completely took over my body, but after I just appreciated the wonders of lucy in the sky more and more. bottom line lucy is the only drug i will ever do again (besides pot, is it even a drug?). |
....and I would want to do that......... why?
No thanks. |
+1
I hope you find something to fill whatever is seemingly missing from your life. Watch out young grasshopper, as that monkey will eventually bite. |
Must be why the Mazatecs have risen to be such an economic, social, and political force in the world.
|
I think I'll get some and then watch that "I've got a crush on Obama" video about 100 times. Should be a thrill.
|
for those who have done it, how was the second and third day afterglow??
|
I'll stick with Coors Lite, makes me stupid enough thank you.

I suppose you were never young, were you tabs?

They had one of the sidekicks on the Bubba the Love Sponge show do it. When he was tripping they started messing with him and that by itself was 10X more funny than what the stooge taking the drugs was doing.
I feel my 1st pole coming on. |

this is just my time of living don't hate (btw my spelling isn't the greatest, i'm just too lazy to fix them) |
thinkfloyd14 - if I had my 20's back again I would not want to alter any of those experiences with drugs that would cloud my mind or give me false perceptions. Granted, I liked my weed and hash and even smoked cocaine and drank way too much hard stuff. If I could change any of it I would have wanted to experience more with less mind altering chemicals.
I look at some guys I know here in Dallas. Guys worth over 100 million easy. These guys are good men, hard workers and all in their 70's. I will bet you they would trade it all to be 20 again and be able to run on a field for 90 straight or keep a hard-on for a solid night. I guess it is true - youth is wasted on the young... |
When I think back on the acid and shrooms I did, I just remember that about two hours into the trip, I was ready to stop. I really did not like having those feelings for 8+ hours. Shrooms always made me take multiple showers, I always thought I smelled like mushrooms and changed clothes a number of times during the trip as well. The last time I shroomed, it was bad and yes, my friend was in the corner in his closet crying and I was in my bed thinking my throat was falling apart.
I have the memories and that's fine with me. |
