I've been snipe hunting. Nothing like running around the forest with a flash light in a pillow case or sleeping bag stuff bag. Never caught a thing, but people were always laughing at me....

Right now I'm guessing Cricket or Katydid.

Looks like Rick is the winner, I think it's a katydid. One day after I get frustrated and finally start researching it, there's an article in the local paper:
