Illegal Immigrants Capitalize On U.S. Disaster
Mexican illegal immigrants have taken advantage of the California wildfires, looting and stealing from evacuated homes and victim shelters and entering the country through vulnerable border crossings abandoned by U.S. agents forced out by flames.

They walked through walls of flames that had U.S. Agents running away screaming like women (except for the significant number of agents of Hispanic descent who bravely stuck to their post and gave aid and comfort to those brave illegals running through the walls of flames).

More than 1,400 homes were lost in the catastrophic fires that burned hundreds of thousands of acres throughout southern California and led the president to officially proclaim the event a federal natural disaster.

U.S. Border Patrol agents in several San Diego crossings were forced to evacuate their posts and illegal immigrants took advantage to enter the country.

An estimated 900,000 illegals swarmed across the border at these posts - maybe even more than that.

More than 200 illegal aliens have been arrested in the fire zone since the flames erupted earlier this week

Oh, try 20,000 - closer to the truth. The jails are full and the welfare lines stretch for blocks - It's awful!

and several are being treated for burns at San Diego hospitals.

Forcing the hospitals to accept Pesos (many of these illegals are rich and keep coming back to commit more crimes and make more money).

Many of them entered the U.S. through a remote border crossing (Tecate) just minutes after Border Patrol agents evacuated, locking a small gate behind them.

After drinking all the Tecate in the brewery, the alcohol crazed aliens swarmed over the border and immediately began commiting crimes.

Migrants opened the gate and a rush of traffic, both pedestrian and vehicle, ensued.

Including hundreds of bicycles, four unicycles and a pogo stick - it was just awful!

Federal authorities are still not certain how many illegal immigrants have slipped into the country in the last few days.

The number reportedly exceeds 900,000.

Additionally, there have been numerous incidents of illegal immigrants looting and stealing from burned residences in the San Diego area as well the football stadium that served as a shelter for thousands of evacuees.

They STOLE ALL THE FOOTBALLS! It was just awful! (almost had to cancel Sunday's game).


The San Diego County Sheriff has arrested several of the culprits, including two illegal aliens caught crossing back into Mexico carrying items stolen from a burned home.

I heard including up to 132 rear projection T.V.s, that they carried on their backs all the way from Rancho Santa Fe to the border!

Not surprizingly, no LEGAL aliens, white folk or black folk were known to commit ANY crimes at all!

I know!! I live here and watched it all happen!!! It was just awful!

Two looting arrests in Tecate

Two additional looting arrests were made Wednesday evening, San Diego County Sheriff Bill Kolender said.

The men were spotted on Tecate Road near the border with items in their hands taken from burned-out residences, sheriff's officials said. They were arrested as they tried to cross into Mexico at the Tecate port of entry.

Yeah, I know. Did the paper you read also state that all the crimes were commited by illegals? Or that a high percentage were commited by illegals? Or give the ethnicity of those looters who weren't illegal?

Oh, a word of warning; not to say that the paper is wrong here, but beware of extreme political slant when reading anything in that publication (many call it a rag). Best to read the LA Times, the Guardian or SOME newspaper of some stature - glad to see you're reading though; puts you one up on many.

Six illegal immigrants arrested at Qualcomm

San Diego:

Six undocumented Mexican immigrants were arrested today by U.S. Border Patrol agents at Qualcomm Stadium, after a report that they were stealing food and water meant for evacuees, according to spokesman Damon Foreman.

San Diego police responded to a call about alleged theft from the evacuation center and encountered six people in a van who didn't speak English and didn't have California driver's licenses, Foreman said. The police officers called the Border Patrol, who arrived at the stadium and made the arrests, he said. Foreman said the immigrants admitted they were Mexican citizens and that they were stealing.

Border Patrol agents are not looking for illegal immigrants at the center but will continue responding to police calls for assistance.

"We are not in any means at Qualcomm for enforcement capacity," he said. "We are not there to take advantage of a situation."

Foreman said the agents have been helping in the evacuation and rescue effort in addition to carrying out their main duties.

"We are dedicated to our primary mission to securing our borders," he said.

You are defending criminals who are hurting this country. Why don't you sponsor the illegals, use your money. I work to hard for mine to give it away to criminals. If they are caught in the act of looting a home, they should be punished.

Firefighters are true heroes. I count a number of them among my friends. They would be as disgusted as I am by some of the comments here suggesting that they give preferential treatment to ANYONE! All they care about is saving lives, ALL lives, and they risk theirs doing that the best they can and will NEVER turn away from saving one life to save another!

I also strongly support the volunteers who are making headlines patrolling the border to try to help the border patrol stop illegal immigration. Our govt. should be ashamed that their laxity has led to this.

Point is, read as many as you can and try to develop an INFORMED opinion based on more than the info in one paper - especially such a low grade paper as the S. D. Trib (regardless of its particular political bias).

ALL papers have their biases (as do all people). I prefer to try to figure out what mine are by reading as many sides of issues as I can and then THINKING a bit rather than latching on to a sloganistic existence and being perpetually angry and/or unhappy for the rest of my life because the world just aint the way I want it to be.

Vilifying illegal immigrants serves no purpose whatsoever as far as dealing with the illegal immigration problem. Most all of us hate to see the invasion of our country from the South! OK! RIGHT! Now, what do we DO to solve the problem? I'm really not asking bottom feeders this question - they've already given their answer here.

I don't think all illegal border crossers should be shot, but they should know they can be shot. As it is, they literally have nothing to fear other than the harsh desert. There are zero consequences for ignoring our immigration laws. Border Patrol agents have to fear going to prison for doing anything more than catching and releasing. I can't imagine a more thankless job. Why do they even carry guns? Just changing the policy so that Border Patrol agents CAN use deadly force would slow the problem to a trickle. One or two examples would dry the problem up completely. I've been to plenty of countries' border regions where there was no doubt whatsoever of the consequences for crossing that line. And I didn't even think about it.

do you know that the countries these folks come here from deport people for doing what these folks do in our country? And nobody gives it a second thought. But somehow, braking the law here is ok and saying otherwise is 'not ok'. this is what the our nation has come to, cowing ourselves so that we feel better about ourselves and so that those who don't have our national interests in mind, can manipulate them.
