That's not mine. All I have is an N-guage CSX SD40 and about 15 freight cars. I'm thinking about setting up a circle track around our little tree just for laughs. If it happens, maybe I'll post a pic.

I think alot of those Allison engines went into modified tractor pulling units. You don't see them as much anymore, but I remember one tractor that had 4 allison engines with 24 small chrome exhaust stacks on each one of them....oh the music it played was intoxicating.

After the war you could pick up a low time P-51 for $1500. They even advertised "Full tanks" as an enticement.

I'm pretty sure, if memory serves, the UH guys pretty much used up the supply of these engines, and were pretty much forced to go to jet engines.

Anyway, here's one that got stuffed into a street legal 'funny car'. Pretty nice craftsmanship, too!
