Typically, DWI = DUI. Driving While Intoxicated = Driving Under the Influence. Just a different way of saying it.

DUI= means you had a few/admit to same, can pass field test = fine ,points, some rehab classes , and you keep Lis.
DWI= your trashed,lose Lis. ,serious fines,and maybe jail. Rika |

Interesting. Here in KS, if you are over the limit it's a DUI, regardless of how much over you are.
