OK, what have you done with the real Kimi Raikkonen??

I think we have seen the end of the old Kimi Raikonnen.
I'm not refering to his driving skills which appear to be unchanged, but what has happened to his mumbling monotone interviews?
I don't know if it's my imagination or whether Kimi has been having lessons in public speaking.
I mean, in todays post qualifying interview he was speaking fairly clearly AND changing the pitch of his voice. It almost sounded as though he was conveying some emotion in his speech. He even gave a full-out smile. TWICE!

I think the Kimi Raikonnen robot has been replaced by a human!

More importantly.

Where was Fernando's watch? LOL!!

No one saw that coming huh?

I agree I noticed too that Kimi has some pitch to his voice now and he seems to be using punctuation. Maybe his learning to speak Italian helped with his English?

Jim - I too enjoy the 'watch show' during the interviews. My better half never noticed how much the drivers intentionally flash their watches with seemingly random nose scratches, eyebrow adjustments, etc. until I pointed it out and now it really annoys her. Just another part of the service I provide!

Not to mention that some of the suits they wear have sleeves with big, stiff, flat surfaces that face directly forward, providing ample real estate for sponsorship decals for the camera. I think they must switch suits after they get out of the cars and before they walk into the interview room.
