Easiest way to fiddle mileage
Found out that my 911 might be worth more if I can wind the clock back a bit.
Currently has 125,000. More realistic if it was 35,000. Would it be easier to :- a) Buy a new speedo with the relevant mileage b) Stick a drill in the back of it and wind it back c) Put it in reverse for the next 6 months d) Drill a small hole in the glass and fiddle with the digits. Any further ideas .................... |

Jeeze...I used to unhook the speedo cable on my dad's '56 Buick, so he wouldn't know how much cruising my buddies & I did. But these newfangled cars with electronics controlling everything? I wouldn't have a clue...

I'd just buy a new speedo with no miles on it, put it on the shelf until I was ready to sell, install and presto, instant no mileage car!
