Thief
What do people think about thieves? Especially the kind that steal for drugs.
Can we forgive these people? I lost around $8,000 to a friend across the country, and most likely will never see that money again. I also can never be his friend again. I don't care if he changes, it just ends the friendship for me. Even if he ever pays up, I'll just count the money and walk away. |

Nothing worse than a thief. Well...perhaps sexual offenders & murderers, but thieves are right up there.
I bought a house in a crack neighborhood thinking I would clean up the block. I did it, but it took a long time. Picked me and my neighbors clean. I hate crack-heads more than anything. These dirty scumbags are like fleas on a dog. Squash one and ten more pop up. They will tell you ANY sob story in an attempt to gain your sympathy. I learned to have no mercy and didn't fall for their BS. |

I lent it to him.
Here is a letter he sent a friend of mine recently... Dxxxxe, I have to keep this somewhat brief since I'm at a college library typing this and they're about to close soon. Not sure what you've heard, but that online radio piece that's been going around is 75% lies (1 example: the only person that ever threatened my family was the one guy doing the interview himself, "Xxxxx"). That whole thing was just too bizarre and he's now agreed to "set the record straight" and to do yet another online interview w/me this time to do just that. We shall see. However, that's really neither here nor there. He asked me if I was mad at him. I was. Initially. Then I quickly came to understand that no matter what lies or misinformation was said, I brought this upon MYSELF to begin with. Period. This was the result of **** that I threw out there coming back around and hitting me hard - square in the face. And deservedly so. I'm lucky I'm not dead. I just got out of rehab three weeks ago after being hooked HARD on oxycontins and heron for over a year and a half. I pretty much lost everything. I didn't care about ANYTHING except getting high and in the process I ripped off friends of mine who were nothing but good to me. It's something I'm extremely ashamed about now that the fog has been lifted from my brain. Particularly since I was clean as a whistle all my life until relatively recently. Never even smoked or drank (MAYBE an occasional beer while spinning, but it was usually sodas or water all night). Anyway, I hope you're well. I'm currently homeless and am crashing at a friend's house until I can get back on my feet. My plan is to 1. ) get a roof over my head, 2. ) start generating some steady income so as to simply SURVIVE (got a real job at the local college here that I just started on Monday - also just applied for social services of all things), 3. ) somehow save up enough capital to buy a vehicle, 4. ) start making amends to EVERYONE I've wronged - both in general principle and FINANCIALLY speaking, of course. Dxxxe, Got a hella long road ahead of me as you'd say out there. Not sure if I'm going to make it to be completely honest with you. Then again, I haven't been "completely honest" with anybody in a long, long time. Including myself. I hope this finds you well. I did manage to speak w/(removed) very briefly before I went into rehab and he was very supportive. Slowly but surely, one by one, I've finally begun making contact with those I've f+cked over. Many of them are surprisingly forgiving and want to help. Others have expressed their understandable desire to want to see me rot in the ground. At the moment, this is all I can do. Keep in touch Dxxxe, and let me know how you've been. Pxxxr |

Drugs are bad.
My 9 year old loves to watch the show COPS. My wife hates it! I think it's the most educational show on TV. He watched and learned tonight! 1. Drugs. Most of the shirtless, homeless looking people being cuffed are rambling on about their drug addictions and having various pharmaceuticals pulled out from their pockets. No glam of drugs there! 2. Street smarts. When you are in the back of the paddy wagon, late at night, shirtless, cuffed, with blood pouring down your forehead into your face, that's the result of NOT being street smart. I know it's a little rough for a 9 year old . . . but he grew up on SpongeBob so he's pretty tough. |

Drug addicts are like vampires,, the person you knew can't be trusted, they have no control over it.. If this person is clean and sober and makes amends, I'd forgive them..

+1...When your money, plus interest, plus a heartfelt apology are received...then maybe forgive them.

Isn't there a saying about loaning a friend $20 and never seeing them again being money well spent. Not 8 grand though.

No use for thiefs or druggies. Or liars.
They will do anything they can to get what they want and they do not care about anyone but themselves, and they don't care about themselves enough to be moral stand-up people. I've tried to help re-habilitate these people, I've been involved in programs to get people back on thier feet. Contributed time and money getting them cleaned up, a roof over their heads, and back to work. Both times as soon as my back was turned they ripped me off or someone else. I wised up and realized they won't change even if people care and led them a hand. Let em rot on skid row, that way they won't drag anyone else down except for their fellow lowlifes. |

in my experience most thieves are liars
My father in law took his kids on a tour of Huntsville State Prison when they started getting old enough to appreciate the experience, scared straight, so to speak.
