lol, you got out cheap with that dinner.

Vegas sucks. Unless you like getting raped at every restaurant, bar, etc. I think it attracts people who actually get off on getting ripped off, i.e., they enjoy telling their friends how much they spent on some mediocre dinner ("Bob and I had a $300 dinner in Las Vegas!"). I don't care about overpaying a little when on vacation, but the current LV is out of hand.

I remember when vegas used to be cheap to eat try the imperial palace car show - I fell in love with a Maser 350 Gt there.

Go straight North on LV Blvd till U get to Jerrys Nugget and stop and get yoself a Prime Rib...now that is the REAL LV.

Imperial Palace car collection is a must for car nutz.

Go play low limit Texas Holdem...if you play it right...very conservative...you can make a bill last quiet awhile...and get free drinks while your at it....remember take NO chances, play only big cards and if they do not pan out FOLD after the flop.

Play Golf and play more golf...

Get off the Strip and drive around town...

Wow, it must be sort of weird being in Vegas and not knowing what to do. Something about that is depressing.

No Dave. I've been here like twice in my life and I don't gamble. I also don't play golf, maybe I should try that. I've got nothing against gambling, but I just don't have the gene. Maybe I'll blow a roll of quarters (scratch that, they don't use coin anymore). I can just never understand why on a beautiful, not hot day, people choose to sit in a dark casino.

I agree, Hugh. I'm not into gambling, either. I can eat and drink, see shows, etc. But losing money in a stupid way ain't my thing.

Machine guns at the Gun store, cars at the imperial and Ceasars, Ferrari sales at the Wynn- most hotels have an exibit or museum happening. Don't pay full price for anything- go to the strip and look for the discounts that the hotels are giving out (not the idiots flappin' the cards on the corner). The hotels will usually give discounts to the events at their other companion hotels.

Excellent ideas. I'll look into the machine guns and who knows, maybe golf with the wifey when she comes in on Wednesday.

Lets add one thing that I hate about the casino's... the cigarette smoke! I carry cigars with me when in Vegas so I can fight back. If I am going to smell that crap they are going to be getting used to cigar smoke as well!
