Yes, as a matter of fact I do. It is pathetic. And weak. Any guy that thinks with his d1ck to that extent is someone I have very little - if any - respect for. Are people seriously that incapable of thinking/acting without getting permission from their "little head" first? That's just idiotic. Yes, sex is fun and all but I can't/don't have much respect for people that have to go revolving their entire lives around it - especially when they have to resort to paying off sluts from CL just so they can blow a wad. Worst I ever did was go to a strip bar a few times. Whoopee. Christ, if you're that desperate go rub one out. Or go to a bar and pick someone up. Hell, even that's sleazy but it's less so than paying someone off the Internet. At least you (hopefully) get to carry on a conversation with them for a while or whatever beforehand.

I ain't a prude or whatever, but I'd have a hard time looking at myself in the mirror and believing I had any sort of self-respect if I actually had to pay some cum-dumpster for a thrill.

Depends on many things, can't answer with a straight yes/no. I can certainly envision situations where it would not be, but it's not for me to judge. That's my point. I'm a libertarian when it comes to things like this, I think it should be legal. There are plenty of other vices which are not necessarily healthy that I also think should be legal and nobody's business but their own.

OK. If that happened to me, it's not like I wouldn't be flattered by the attention nor excited by the jump in hormones. Even though I'm a Christian, it's not a fear of God or some eternal punishment that would ultimately sway me, it would be expectation of what the knowledge of my potential actions would do to my wife. I can imagine the emotional pain and suffering that "a no-strings roll in the hay" would cause her. I couldn't do that to her. She and her relationship with me is too important to me. We've collectively put a lot into our 15 years of marriage. That means investing more than 15 years in trying to make each other happy. Doing something stupid like having "no-strings" fling would fly in the face of all of that.

BTW, aside from the philosophical question, I don't think that there is such a thing as "no strings". Even if the significant other doesn't explicitly find out, it doesn't cover up the fact that where previously there was openness, and trust -- there would now be hiding and secrecy. All of life's actions have ramifications that have to be lived with. Stuff like guilt, hiding and secrecy tends to be corrosive to relationships.

Aside from all of the emotional show-stoppers that I've mentioned earlier, be sure to re-read some of the earlier postings from guys getting divorces. It's a really ugly and expensive process where there really aren't any winners.

I hope that I never go there!

Healthy for whom?

I believe that no woman that is selling her body is healthy, mentally. You can make light of that, but I believe it to be true and I wouldn't want to contribute to it.

As for the risks for men, they are well documented.
