Wow, greyhound in Ontario must be different. I used to take the bus all the time when I was in university - home to visit the family, other cities to visit friends, etc. While it was never quite first class, I never met any real weirdos, or felt scared, or anything. Just a bunch of people travelling.

I have ridden in a Greyhound bus once in my life. I was with my parents, I was 8, and I still remember the experience. We arrived at LAX from Europe hours behind schedule and our ride home was gone. So we take a taxi to the Greyhound station and wait for the next bus to Santa Barbara - 3 hours later departing at 1:00 am. My dad assembled our suitcases on the floor of the station into a makeshift bed for me to lie on. All kinds of characters wandering around with piss stains on their pants. The bus was full of whacked out folks and I still remember this very very filthy drunk gal sitting across the aisle offering me a potato chip. I declined before my parents could chime in.

My aunt was scared to death of flying so she took Greyhound. That cured her fear of flying

5 hours? 10 hours? That's not a Greyhound trip, that's a fun jaunt.

Try 56 hours to Miami, 3 days in the city, then 59 hours back to AZ.

I woulda killed someone too after that. There's 3 types of people on Greyhound...the dead broke, the insane, and the criminals. Often, you get on as one and get off as at least one more.

But, as an aside, after 9/11, Greyhound was claiming that they would not allow weapons on the bus. I have yet to see a single driver even look at the person getting on, much less check them for weapons. If they would be enforcing their own claims, this wouldn't have happened.

Quick sea story:

A friend of mine was the Commanding Officer of NAS Key West. After his first few months of putting up with stupid drunk pilot tricks from navy air crews staging out of Key West for aircraft carrier qualification/requal, he decided the best punishment was to send the offenders home on a Greyhound Bus...most to California, Virginia and Washington State

Word got out.

Genius is often simple.

I took a Greyhound bus from Portland, Oregon To Lincoln Park, Michigan back in 1980 and it was one of the most unpleasant experiences I've ever had. Good thing handguns are outlawed in Canada so people can't kill each other!

I took a bus ride from Oklahoma to Pa once. It was the only time i've ever rode a Greyhound. It was great, as i was sitting next to a cute little cowgirl that had a huge fondness of giving handjobs to strangers. She didn't get off until pittsburgh.

Absolute truth, i swear on Pazazu's eyes.

I would like to re-stress that the above incident is a true story.

That sounds a lot like British Airways. When they pass out the blankets at night, the whole plane starts to shake like a magic-finger bed.

Did "she" mention the part where "she" used to be named "Tim"?

Not that there's anything wrong with that.

Make fun if you want, but this is a true story, she was quite cute. It's not cool trying to ruin another dude's penthouse write in moments man. We each only get but a few.

Just messin'. I certainly wouldn't have turned that down either. In my single days anyway.

In other news, at least now we all know why bus floors are so sticky.
