Broken into last night - bike stolen, 911 vandalized

I'm pissed beyond words right now.

Whoever did it better hope I never catch them. More later.

God I'm pissed beyond belief.

Man, that sucks ass! Few things inspire more rage than someone messing with your stuff and GETTING AWAY WITH IT. I've never met you in person, but it still makes me mad. No doubt the police came out, pretended to be interested, wrote a report and forgot all about it. What happened? Extent of the damage?

Darn Jeff, I really hate to hear that. Burglars have to be about the lowest of the low. I would rather have a potential thief have the balls to confront me man to man. So I can shoot him without having to hunt him down.

Ouch!

Sorry to hear.

By "bike" I presume you mean motorcycle? I also presume you reported it to the police? I know it is a million to one chance that they will catch them but you never know... they might spot the idiots driving around with the bike in the back of a pickup.

Sorry to hear that, P-O-P - sucks when that happens. I hate thieves - what makes them think they can have something for nothing?

The good news is that 'stuff' can be replaced. That's why we have insurance.

As for the thief - while I'm a good Christian boy, there is something to be said about karma. His actions will have consequences, I am most certain of that...

That does suck. Doubtful you ever catch who did it. Hopefully insurance will cover the loss.

I can totally understand your rage right now.

I hope your insurance kicks in well.

What a way to have a day ruined.

I'm sorry to hear that as well. I remember the first week living in the city of Philadelphia, my Corrado was broken into, glass everywhere and all my CDs were stolen. Just last year, I had my Mountain bike stolen in the suburbs. Fortunately, my insurance paid for current market value to replace it.

Also, when getting estimates for your car, don't go with the prefered body shops your insurance will strong arm you into, they all suck. Go with the best.

People complain about overcrowded prisons.. Not me. Tax money well spent.

Common thieves like this should be locked up for a long, long time.

Vandalized 911? They should be shot.

Sorry to hear this. It's very ugly.

We were hit twice, four months apart. The police told us this is very common, because the perps know that we've replaced all the stuff (computers, electronics, cameras etc etc) they took the first time around with new stuff. So they get the latest kit the second time around.

The police do very little. They usually know who is operating in the area, but here they are almost all crack head juveniles, and the criminal justice system just doesn't deal with them. So the police don't even arrest them. They consider it a waste of paperwork.

We've turned our house into a fortress in the meantime. The whole nine yards. As the cops told us, the object of your security measures should be to make your house so difficult or risky to get into that the perps "go to your neighbour instead."

Well, we must have done something right, because since then they've just hit our neighbours.

That really sucks. I've been tempted to get my stuff micro dotted, just in case that happens to me (but then the cops have to recover it)
I hope you get it back.

There is a good reason why it was once legal to shoot a horse thief.
