Communism is a philosophical ideal, Socialism is a political ideal. Neither actually exists, but they come from two very different backgrounds, and define two very different things. No one lived by a philosophy, and no one debates political designs. I don't understand how anyone could possibly think that Communism and Socialism are the same, but I guess some people do.
