Ok, lets cut the crap. There are a lot of prick cops out there, but there are also a lot of good cops out there. I am just under the assumption that we shouldn't have prick cops and get really pissed when I experience one. Puts a very bad taste in my mouth.

This sarcastic denigration of repo men must stop! Reposession is an honorable profession that attracts some of the sharpest minds out there; right up there with tow-truck drivers (who also get a bad rap) and sanitation engineers (they're ENGINEERS for gawds sake!).

To compare the quality of training and education police officers get at police academies to the level of education of repo men, tow-truck drivers and sanitation ENGINEERS is ludicrous!

Is it not obvious that, while bad cops abound (what is it, 4 out of 10?), one rarely encounters a poorly educated, dishonest or dishonorable member of the other professions mentioned?

But of course that's just my "elitist" opinion.

Good cops are great. Bad cops suck.

Good people are great. Bad people suck.

Good dogs are great. Bad dogs suck.

Good cars are great. Bad cars suck.

You can sell a bad car, kick a bad dog, and ignore a bad person. You can't sell, ignore, or kick a bad cop who's in your face for no reason.

Well, you can kick him, if you're willing to deal with your choice.

True. But you can't kick a bad person who's in your face for no reason either - they might call a cop who'll bust you for assault .

I'll let you know if i ever meet one.

What is a 'prick cop' and what is a 'good cop' is only contingent on their mood and how they know you.

If you ever saw the typical slovenly, overweight, donut eating, barely high school educated Philly cop you'd probably have a much different opinion.

Most cops are not highly educated at all. And most cops have very little knowledge in many if not most areas of the law (lord knows they don't know squat about repo laws). Many are, as was previously stated, ignorant racist thugs.

But hey, don't let the facts get in the way, you never do.

I also don't know what tow truck drivers or janitors have to do with anything, but then your posts rarely make sense.

I just had dinner & libations last night with 3 cops (no i was not in jail) one of them is a very high ranking leut. w/ CHP, one is a local PD, the other a County Sheriff Detective.
They are the best people you could meet & would give you the shirt off their backs.
But i have also met some total douchbags too.
Just like any profession, you have all types of people, good & bad.

We wouldn't want anyone not making sense now would we? I for one consider your over generalization as a form of not making sense, and that is even after my return trip from hell.

Perhaps you can come up with some other form of juvenile suggestion now that I have returned.
