Things are not always what they seem
So it appears that the low fuel light on the Ducati is not working. Got about a mile away from work today when the bike promptly shut down. Open the tank, nothing. I start walking back, helmet in hand, about a quarter mile away a white Chrysler 300 decked out in big chrome dubs rolls up, window comes down, guy asks me if that's my bike back there and do I need I ride. He's black, got mini dreads and a big gold grill on his front teeth. I tell him I ran out of gas and sure, just need a ride down the street. He says hop in and I'll take you back.
his name was Troy. he was a good guy and had a nice conversation about the bike, where he works, he wants to get a bike, etc. as we made it back to my work in a few minutes. nice guy.

There are many good, well meaning people in this world, there just hard to find some days.
You found one today. |

Shaun,
Yep, they're out there, just hard to find them among the losers and posers. Good people are out there, it's comforting to know that!
