Oh, he isn't going to like that. Accurate, detailed facts make the voices angry.

I think we all have to admit that Ms. Palin has a very radical belief system.

That would disqualify her in my book, even with out the lack of experience.

Tonite we will find out how well she can give a (prepared) speech. Sometime after that, we will find out her ability to speak extemp & answer questions off the cuff.

What? Where are you from? Have you ever met any Christians?

What? What is a radical belief system? I'm not sure she is the right choice, but, RBS?

Ever heard OB try and speak extemporaneously? Go to the post with OB explaining how his campaign experience matters.

Obama's campaign experience does matter, because he's winning the campaign.

And yes, Palin's is a RBS, which is hard enough to swallow. What's really sad is her RBS doesn't venture well inside her personal life.

I know the GOP and even BO (supposedly) wants people to overlook this flaw in Palin, but it can't be excused in lieu of the office she is running - or rather has been picked to run for.

lendaddy 09-03-2008 02:43 PM

I must have missed some breaking news? Can I get an example of her radical beliefs?

911boost 09-03-2008 02:49 PM

no, no you can't Len.

You must take them and the bloggers words for granted.

She thinks leaving babies in hospital trash cans to die is wrong. RBS.

So, in other words, you've got zippy?

I loath the personal attacks...I thought all you dems did. Oh, well...yet another reason I'm a GDI.

So you hold that she is a failure because she does not run a tight enough ship at home and was unable to control her daughter??? Am I missing your point??? (bold mine)

RWebb 09-03-2008 03:32 PM

Ms. Palin has a very radical belief system.

- for example, her Christian beliefs are -- um - shall we say "unusually strong"
- her association with, and possibly Membership in, the fringe Alaskan Independence Party calls into question her dedication to the US as a nation

I'm sure she will explain all this -- and her support for windfall profits taxes on oil co.s, for special funding setasides for Wasilla and for the Bridge to nowhere, and other handouts when she gives her speech.

"Zippy?" "GDI?" Can you translate this into the King's English, please?

Oh, and keep the conjecture to yourself about "you dems." SmileWavy

Nope. You got my point.

What's funny is, she's not making any excuses for herself. You people are handling the excuses beautifully.

lendaddy 09-03-2008 03:45 PM

She must be a better choice than I thought to elicit this kind of irrational response from the left. This is weird stuff.

No, the Right is simply desperate and knows McCain shot his wad off target with this choice.

RWebb,
But at least we know what she believes in!

What does Barack believe in? He, like all of the other politicians is able to hide, camouflage, or nuance all of his beliefs.

When he was pinned down on the "when does life begin question, he deflected it to "above my pay grade". So what does he believe in? I don't know. Palin, if offered that question, would answer from her beliefs. That would stake her position and I would know exactly where she stands.

Thankfully, At least we know what she believes in.
