It gets me every time. It was the parking aid for the 951.

I was going for a CB 750, but this came in and I put in a low-ball bid...and won.

I drove up to Braidwood to pick up the bike (the son-in-law who listed it on eBay lives in Mokena) and trailered it home. I stopped by the insurance agent's and the DMV an got insured and registered. I rode it to the gym tonight.

Get those damned vehicles out of there, and get that Foosball table set up. I'm bringin' the beer!

Seriously though, it looks good from what I can see, we expect full daylight pics tomorrow.

Silver and white?

Yep. More pics tomorrow. I meant to take pics of me loading it, getting stuck in my insurance agent's parking lot, not being able to back with a trailer (it's been a LONG time), and running over landscaping, and unloading it.

Oh, and there's a poker table next to the foosball table.

I don't think that subwoofer box will fit on the back, but extra points for trying.

Nice bike - ride safe. I sold my Aprilia yesterday, and am down to just the BMW. One is infinitely better than none though.

Shop around for insurance. I switched carriers yesterday as well and saved $200/yr.

Sweet ride.

Well, I've taken it out three times in two days. Hit Towanda-Barnes road today, a 4-lane rural highway of sorts with a 55 mph speed limit. I'm getting a feel for the bike.

I'm not ready for morning rush hour yet. Might not get to that level of comfort until Spring, but there's no rush. Keep in mind my first time riding on public roads was taking a CB750 for a test drive a week and a half ago!

I know I'll get requests for passengers soon. I'm not ready for that. My friends are really psyched about the bike. This is the nicest, newest motorcycle among any of my close friends. (There is a CB 650, a Rebel 250, and a Nighthawk 250.) This is a much heavier bike than I've ever ridden and I need an experienced passenger to learn that aspect.

I've got to get better at the motorcycle wave. Not a single motorcycle I saw today in town, be it a Harley, a sport bike, or another Honda didn't wave. Even a motorcycle cop waved. (And I didn't even know we had those!)

Yes, the wave is important. You'll also need to decide whether to wave at scooters. Some of the bigger ones look like motorcycles from a distance. Big dilemma

My Fiance has been hitting me up for rides. I've been riding since June, MSF course and all of that. still wouldn't feel comfortable with a passenger.
