98 Tahoe wiring help

My power door locks don't work ( any of them) I've checked all the fuses, it looks like there's a relay in the circuit somewhere but I can't seem to find it.. Any suggestions ? I've checked all of the fuse/ relay boxes that I can find,,
Thanks
Todd

It's possible there could be a broken wire in the harness in the rubber boot where it passes through the door to the switch.

Todd, there is a door lock relay under the center of the dash. It has six wires, ORANGE, TAN, WHITE, LT BLUE, GREY, and BLACK.

Orange: is constant hot.

Tan: goes to terminal "A" on all of the lock actuators.

White: goes to the unlock terminals on each door switch, and also to terminal "D"
on the door lock control module (Front of Left Rear Wheelhouse).

Lt Blue: goes to the lock terminal on the door switches, and terminal "C" on the lock module.

Grey: Goes to the "B" terminal on the lock actuators.

Black: is ground.

The orange wire runs to a constant hot, 30A fuse, PWR ACCY / CB , in the instrument panel fuse block (left hand side of the dash).

I can try to send you a schematic if you want, it might be too small to use though.

Ok guys, I picked up a new door lock relay and no luck.. Here's a wiring diagram.. I have 12 volts on the orange to the relay ( it's a 4 door so look at the relay on the right).. When I short the orange to the tan or light blue it does activate the door locks).. I don't get a full short on the black to ground conductivity check. So now where do I look for a broken wire?? I'm thinking maybe the black wire?? Suggestions ?

Hey Todd,

Do you have 12V on the other orange (to the door lock switches)No power there would cause a no go condition. Using a meter, are you grounding on the chassis, or grounding on the black wire on the relay? By trying both ways, you can tell if your black is broken.
Orange --> meter --> chassis = 12V
Orange --> meter --> black wire = ??

On the output of the switches (coming into the relay) do you see 12V???
