His music is flat out generic and sucks....he should be thrilled that he has had such a fine career as an actor and leave it at that...
Billy Bob should leave the music to the musicians. |

It's not like BBT has any music id listen to though... |
It's not my purpose to support BBT, but throw yourself from your own little world for a minute... , but it was, what, 6am? In Canada? No drums? I wouldn't have been there unless getting a blow job was a precondition. Even then I'd think about frost bite.

The scumbag was giving anti-war concerts in America as the 9-11 site was literally still smoldering. If only BBT had caved his face in with a series of viscous right hooks. |

The classy bag of camel dung called BBT has apparently shown his true form once more and cancelled all of his remaining shows in Canada. I think this is most excellent, especially since it was the boo-ing in Toronto that pushed him over the edge.
WE DO NOT WANT HIM IN OUR COUNTRY!!!!!!! I hope he is never tempted to do anything north of the 49th parallel again....good riddance! Dennis |

Came late to the thread, so sorry if this is a repeat: BBT had given 'ground rules' to the interviewer that his acting career was not to be brought up. The guy violated the ground rules. I have no problem with what ensued.
I watched a similar thing happen many years ago when I heard the "Cheap Suit Orchestra" play and approached R. Crumb afterward to sign a very old comic. His band mates went ballistic on him, saying his fame was ruining their chance to build a reputation as a band. I think a lot of bands are like bad marriages, and bands that include people famous for something other than their music are probably doomed (where is Dog Star, now?). |
"If only BBT had caved his face in with a series of viscous right hooks."
You mean "viscous" as in attempting a right cross through a vat of STP oil treatment? .... .... or "vicious" as in beating the radio host to a pulp because of something he did that YOU disagreed with? Voodoo dolls might be more effective. Anger management is better for your health and well-being. Take it easy, S |
I'm pretty sure you know what i meant cuz.

The Boxmasters opened for Willie Nelson on Thursday in Toronto, where they reportedly were booed and met with catcalls of "Here comes the gravy." A note posted on Nelson's Web site Friday said the Boxmasters were canceling the rest of their Canadian dates "due to one band member and several of the crew having the flu." The cancellation came two days after Thornton made world headlines with a belligerent appearance on CBC radio's "Q." The actor apparently didn't like that host Jian Ghomeshi started the interview with references to Thornton's Hollywood career. Thornton refused to answer many of Ghomeshi's questions directly, mumbling: "I don't know what you're talking about." He later said Ghomeshi's producers had been told ahead of time not to talk about his film career. Thornton also had some unkind words for Canadian crowds. "Canadian audiences seem to be very reserved," he told Ghomeshi. "We tend to play places where people throw things at each other. Here, they just sort of sit there. And it doesn't matter what you say to 'em. ... It's mashed potatoes but no gravy." Before his Thursday night gig, Thornton tried to clarify those remarks, saying he loved Canada and his "mashed potatoes" comment had been aimed at Ghomeshi. Media around the world delighted in the story. Entertainment Weekly's Web site ran the headline, "Billy Bob Thornton: What's his problem?" |
BBT sure did stir up a lot of publicity for the band, didn't he?
