nostatic. handgun sight i would choose.

i like the red-dot scopes from aimpoint. my brother has one on a silenced 10-22, that is amazing.

batteries have a five year lifespan if left on! i have been looking at sights, because you have me wanting a target .22 pistol, for chit&grins. i bet one of these would work on my compound bow!

im sorry jeff that target is NOT POLITICALLY CORRECT!

from now on as per the anti-gunners so they will like us more............you must use "AMOEBA" targets, so as not to offend anyjuan!

i swear to god/buddah/yaweh this is what was explained to me at rio salado .22 match last month. i about pooed myself laughing that this even entered into some idiots mind!

yep a P.C. correct target. next it will be the "SAVE THE AMOEBA" movement!

On my 686, that is the setup (with red sight ramp on the front). It sights perfectly. The Sig is fine as well. The Buckmark though has iron sights that I just don't see well - it is particular to the 5.5 Target model and they are black with no highlights. It is better without the sight hoods.

I'd never really considered red dot sights until I used one for the first time the other day. Although it was a Tru-Glo and not anything super exotic I was still suprised at how quick it was to train on target and with remarkable accuracy. I don't see myself putting one on a pistol at any point soon (I like Higgins' sights) but a 'utility' rifle I can see it would be quite appropriate.

here red-dots or any optic will place you in the "unlimited" class for .22 match shoots. my suggestion and you wont like the price............is get the QD(quik-disco) mounts from volquartzen and that way after spending scads of dollars and beers sighting it in dead nuts el perfecto. you can remove whatever optic........and it returns to "zero" each and everytime you mount or dismount scope.

plus when shoved into "unlimited class" you are shooting against guys who have dropped MEGA MEGA MEGA INSANE MONEY into their shooters. these guys bet big bucks shooting heads off ohio bluetip wooden matches at distances that will astound you. same with "unlimited" .22 rifle class, those guys have their own FREEKING WEATHER STATION, chronographs, micrometer EVERY ROUND OF MATCH AMMO and shoot the eyes out of flys at 100yds.

goofing around my bushnell is cheap ass fun, but i would like the volquartzen QD mounts for it. next month maybe.
