I hate to say it, but you should have cleaned the shiny one.

I don't care for the pelican in the "B" badge.

Dang! I thought this was a thread for ordering. Figured I was sure to get one with the low view/response count.

Will this be a limited run? I like the rarity of the one I have.

The first one (A) looks more vintage, classy. The second (B) more modern esthetically. Personally, I would use (A) for a 911 model up to 1997, or at least 1989. The second (B) for a water pumper.

I say go with "B" - that way my first run polished nickel will be even more of a collector's item

I like "A", but think that the satin would look cool on a car with RSR satin rims or the water pumpers as Markus said

The problem with B is that the lines on the pelican are indistinct. He looks washed out. Plus, there is little on the cars that is satin like that. I would vote for A, except I already bought a badge, so I don't think my vote should count, and thus I didn't vote in the poll.

I think the satin looks better but more modern, so for an early car, I'd go with A.

I have one on my 911 from the first run, and I love it. However, due to how the nut is welded on the back, the badge mounts about 30 deg off from 12:00 - IOW, it's turned a bit. Is this normal? Will you be making any provisions for this in the second run?

Is it supposed to be turned?

Wayne, this calls for a nice outdoor shot... y'all have all that warm California sunshine... and maybe even a few beautiful women, right?

I'm sure you can come up with another way to show off the badges. C'mon... you can do eeeet.

Sounds like a definite improvement, but the slats in my rear grill and the nut on the back of the badge keep it from rotating.

Wayne, Will you have badges w/an adhesive backing or is there a way to mount the improved style w/two studs on a 944???
