Remember as you turn in that you aim for the 2nd oak tree. Enjoy.

I hope they give us that info at the track. ;)

What happens if you aim for the first oak tree? Or a totally different species of tree?

There's nothing but oaks. And they all look pretty much the same to me. Apparently one used to be taller than the others years ago.

Noah930 02-18-2014 08:44 PM

Never tried to aim for any of the other trees. I guess if you aim for the first, you apex too tight on the entry to the Corkscrew and then get set up too wide for the exit. If you aim for the third oak tree, then you go across the dirt Alex Zanardi-style.

Found almost all the Corner Gas episodes are on YouTube. Put 2nd and 3rd season on my watch later, RKDinOKC. Can now easily access and watch em on my TV instead computer.

Put one episode in a corner gas playlist and made it public so you can watch it too.

I think we did pretty good with his costume. :)

Needs some padding in the shoulders. And muss up his hair. You know how to do that, right. ;)

We've got an unsheduled extra day in Adelaide tomorrow. While doing my pre-flight checks this afternoon, I've discovered a front shock absorber with a mangled lower mount bush. Will have to find someone who can press a new bush in in the morning.

There's no stopping you, Jeff. SmileWavy

Heya Jim, we're having a good time so far. Spent today at a caravan and camping show here in Adelaide. Pretty much picked out our caravan design for when we can no longer climb up onto the camper trailers fart sack. Jeez though, get ready to hand over significant brass!

Jim Richards 02-19-2014 02:17 AM

Yeah, a little over a month ago, we went to the annual RV show here in the DC area and eyeballed the various offerings. One thing's for sure, it's gonna hurt the wallet.

GH85Carrera 02-19-2014 04:53 AM

25 years ago I saw a motor-home at a local Boat & RV show. It was a cool million bucks. It had marble counter tops and central vacuum. It was neat but stupid price. That same money could buy a fantastic house on several acres of land and go up in value. I wonder what the motor-home is worth right now.

One of my friends that likes to take a month long road trip went through several different motor-homes and trailers. Now he just rents a nice one and turns it back after he is done. No storage and he figures it is cheaper for his once a year trips.

Good Hump day morning folks.

Morning Everyone.

Thinking about a spring project for the 911. With paying for the wedding and all, my budget this year is tight when it comes to extra curricular activities. The clear coat is pealing on the 911 in certain areas, but I don't have the money for a paint job at the moment. I was thinking on wet sanding the car smooth and just wrapping the entire car in vinyl just to get me through the next few years until I really start my rebuild project on it. The vinyl wrap is cheaper and I can do it myself.

Noah930 02-19-2014 05:27 AM

Would vinyl wrap trap moisture underneath and start rust? Can you just wrap it on top of the existing paint + clear coat or will that be lumpy?

Porsche-poor 02-19-2014 05:46 AM

Morning all. Yes Rick you are bad but I felt that way before reading the post.

RKDinOKC 02-19-2014 06:12 AM

Does the placement of the bow on your package tell whether you are gay or not, like the single ear ring thing? You know ear ring on one side you are a pirate, and the other you are a butt pirate. ie. Bow on top (package guy) versus bow on front (Sidney costume).

One thing for sure it is a short track but it should be fun. Not much of a straight anywhere but I don't want to just go straight. The curves are the fun. Charlotte had the superspeedway and all the top speed stuff I want. Roebling Road in Georgia was fun, it is mostly one sweeper after another with just one straight.

I guess I will need to put another set of pads on before I head out. Right now I have stock Porsche pads on it. Those have gotten crazy expensive. I hear the Textar pads are pretty good for street and good for track. I drive it on the street so I don't want the squeaky track pads.
