svandamme 11-17-2014 12:35 PM

nottn much, still haven't won the lottery
still have to work for a living
still no zombie pandemic :(

flipper35 11-17-2014 12:37 PM

How is the solar doing?

svandamme 11-17-2014 12:55 PM

not all that good really, it's winter :D

flipper35 11-17-2014 12:58 PM

Does it keep up with your needs through the summer? Just curious, seems like spring, summer, fall it would do pretty good for you.

svandamme 11-17-2014 01:09 PM

it builds up surplus all summer to the grid, bout 900 kwh, mid october my production drops below my usage and i use up surplus via the grid
I usually have enough to come up with an annual electric bill that says "amount due : F-all"

I must say, the No Zombie Pandemic is somewhat disappointing. I thought by now there would be an intelligence level that defined huge numbers of the general populous as no more than zombies. As for the lottery, your odds are increased if you actually buy tickets, but not by much. I find entering the Publisher's Clearing House Sweepstakes a much better return on investment as there is no purchase necessary.

I am still wearing shorts as my commute and work is in a controlled environment that typically does not vary much with respect to seasonal weather changes. If required to venture into the wildly unpredictable conditions outside the controlled environment I usually observe a minimum shorts wearing temperature of around 40 degrees depending on wind and estimated length of exposure.

flipper35 11-17-2014 01:23 PM

And if you are going through the drive through.

RKDinOKC 11-17-2014 01:28 PM

If the destination of venturing from my controlled environment is accessible by drive thru, I sometimes don't even bother to put on shoes.

flipper35 11-17-2014 01:30 PM

I was glad you didn't say pants.

RKDinOKC 11-17-2014 01:38 PM

I save that for special occasions

RKDinOKC 11-17-2014 01:51 PM

I never leave the house in a vehicle without shoes and adequate clothing for the conditions. This morning I had the clothing necessary to be outside for long enough to walk to shelter. I never leave the house without my wallet even for a test run down the street and back.

I can't imagine leaving the house with no shoes even in the middle of summer now. When I lived in Hawaii a long long time ago I was too young to drive and had no problem going anywhere barefoot and no shirt, no ID and maybe a dime in my pocket.

RKDinOKC 11-17-2014 02:16 PM

I feel naked if I leave the house without my wallet, house keys, and cell phone. That's why I wear pants...Pockets!!

Rick V 11-17-2014 03:30 PM

Evening Y'all,
The only person here that should be without pants is Richards "mind bleach"

Roses are Red
Violets are Blue
I like Boobs
Boobie Boobie Boobs

You can lead a horse to boobs,
But you can't make it motorboat.

A boob in the hand is worth 2 in the bra.

A journey of a thousand smiles begins with a single boob.
