Whadda y'all figure the odds are that I could get away with just replacing that fuse box? It looks like the fire was fairly contained and hadn't worked down to the bottom if the box where the wiring harness connectors are....

Doubtful. There had to be some kind of high amp draw for it to do that. In a car that is having no issues you can remove the fuses and use cotter pins and nothing will happen.
I would replace the fuse box and test each circuit before installing any fuses. Power to ground and amp draws are going to be your friends if you want to replace it yourself

Good Afternoon.

Cloudy and damp and in the low 60's...I think it's Chili Time!

The AC blower had felt kinda weak for a few days.....and I believe that the fuse for that is in the area that appears to have been the origin.....just can't imagine a little fan causing this.

Hey hey.

We had a great time at the swap meet. Ran into several Pelicans(kach22, GLASEM, KarlW911).

We went to Karl's house to check out the 74 911 he has been trying to sort. His dad bought it brand new but it hasn't run right in a few years. We got it started but it struggled to stay running. We didn't have time nor the proper tools to dig into it.

The weather was/is beautiful. We are going to build a fire in the pit and make smores.

Hope you guys had a god day, too.

Fire pit seems to be the idea for the evening Beth and I are planning the same thing. I cut the grass and terrorized a few people with the M1078

Got the garage organized, cleaned, hauled a full ton of crap to the dump for $5, and got everything buttoned back up.

Oh yea, most important...today was the first time I brought Saucy Jr to the park. That was great!!

Nah, been awake for a while but having a slow start to the day. Carpets done, my footy team is playing like U10's, and I'm off to bash a little ball round the paddock.

Dinner around the fire pit sounds like a fun plan.

Kimi does it again...when coming up on some back markers...

He is hilarious. I think he's become my favorite F1 driver just for his radio comments.

Morning Y'all,
Well today being the only day Beth and I both have off together, we are going to do something to enjoy the nice weather. It better NOT involve her spending my money but she did mention an estate sale. I already informed here we are taking the boxster and not one of the trucks
