Yeah is it mid eighties here, humidity is up a little but not bad at all, I love it. I actually didn't mind being outside cutting grass

Off to the local roundy round track for a school sponsored event. Free food and bus rides around the track. We've been here almost 15 years and I've never been to it.

Mayhem and destruction, Sounds like a perfect way to kill an evening. Beth got called in for an emergency thing at work, so I am batching it tonight, I might be destructing s few things myself

80% humidity here. Only 76 degrees but it feels thick. I got the 911 washed up and put away. The possibilities of thunderstorms later today is high. The cloud cover is keeping things cool and thunderstorms weaker.

I'm still looking for my best sleeveless shirt and jorts for tonight. Yes, unfortunately that IS the summer outfit for many in our area. Good people, bad clothes. :D

Well......

The big bad storms they predicted last week to happen today are forming. One big tornado in south west OK. another bad storm that goes the entire north to south width of the state are moving in. Sidney's parents will have the bad pookie about 7:00 we get it about 8:15 to 8:30.
For sure a night to be watching the non stop TV coverage of the tornadoes.

Just got back from the spring PCA members meeting and tour. Myself and one other air cooled the rest were water pumpers. Had a good time and the weather turned out ok. Had my doubts as it was poring rain at 6 this morning.

It looks like Moore, OK is in the line of fire once again.

The storms are past us. Just big thunderstorms and some high winds. Nothing too bad.

Well, that was a frikkin' hoot and a half!

I figured we would do the school event activities and be home in an hour or so. Nope, we just got back. 6 hours at the race track.

We had a great time and saw some really good racing. I'm not a circle track fan but these cars were basically stock and just beaters. The drivers fought hard for positions and did alot of bumping.


The super mods were hitting about 90MPH on the short straight and they sounded awesome!

The smell of the race fuel and rubber stays with you.

We will be going back.

Yeah, they are just beaters with very expensive motors and transmissions slapped in them.
