Meow, Pffft, Pffft...Pop!
|
Morning Y'all,
Well yesterday was fun, and the kid did well up to about 400 yards, then he fell down a little and beyond 600 he just gave up. My shoulder hurts but that was a fun outing |
yo
Off to a family reunion northern Michigan. 2 hours in the van. Should be tranquil. Frikkin' pool water turned cloudy in the last 2 days. Grrrrrrr. |
Oh nooo. Cloudy pool reminds me of a house I looked at when house shopping. It was pretty obvious a gay couple owned the house. I overlooked the naked man statues and pictures until I looked in the back yard. The combination of statues and milky white pool grossed me out.
|
That is NOT the problem with our pool.
|
If yoiu are going to show a house...
Remove all your nude statues and pictures. The pool needs to be clean and clear. |
Morning all.
We got up early and trimmed the hedges. Almost as much fun as cleaning out gutters. Then I washed my El Camino. |

Too many home projects, too little time. :( |

Afternooon all, long time long time.
Well I have successfully managed to packup all of our crap in our house into a 20 foot ccontainer and it is currently wending its way back to Oz on a slow boat. We still ahve three months to go, but had to move out of our house because the bitcch that owned it wanted a long lease, but we are only here for three more months, our lease ran out 31 July and she wanted us out so that she could rent it out on a twelve month lease. sigh I wanted a fully furnished place so that we could send all of the other crap home (except for most furniture as that is rented) but all the bedding, kitchen, tools, miscellaneous crap, biks, magazines, car parts (:)) you know all of the important stuff. Anyway, whilst sorting the ccar parts executive decisions were made on what to keep and what to send home. Big mistake sent the car tyre pump home, the Durango had a flat tyre today in the driveway, effing big nail, did an emu of the driveway (gravel) and found 4 4" nails, and two tech screws about 1" long, so hopefully that has put of the inevitable more flats. Anyway the new (yes it is very new) house is on the water, has 3 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms, a big garage, (Marilyn and Custard are in there) a 100 ft pier for fishing off, and crabbing, about 6 acres of grass, which we are having mowed by someone else, as the ride on mower at the house is apparently not functional, Steve was looking forward to mowing on a ride on. I feel like we have spent that last two weeks doing nothing except clean, sort and move ****. I am so physically tired and so is Steve, and then today the flat tire just about saw us out. He has gone for a ride on Custard to de stress lol. I am sitting here with a beer, I just need something nice and cold, our pier now is sporting the Ozzie flag, we have claimed it for Australia lol. I will attach a few photos of what I have been up to in the last month, had the big kid and his GF over and went to NYC, had a ball, spent heaps. |

and of course David Graduated from High Schoool. yeah, now just for University, another four years for Mum and Dad to keep working. |
Then, this week, Marilyns front blinker bulb must have blown, so the while I am in there syndrome started, so front bulb changed, easy, one of the fog lights was also out, has been for a while, don't care, but I had bought a couple of new ones from our host, so i though why not, hanged it out, what a pita, not an intuative change like the blinker bulb. Then I had bought new rear lens seals, as I had noticed that when I washed her the back right tail light would get misty. So off it came, what a pita, how much **** gets up behind the tail light assembly, holy crap!!! I did one lense seal, took an hour to clean up behind the light assembly, so much grit and dirt, but thankfullly no rust, and I had been going to do the other one, but that's when we noticed the flat tyre on the Durango, so nope, that will wait for another day. Its beer o'clock.

AND, the furniture rental people came two days ago to pick up thier houseful of furniture, their truck wasn't big enough to take it all, so they left three queen sized beds and box bases, two twin sized mattrresses and box bases, three high oak barstools, a BBQ and hood with stand and gas bottle, a 5t long coffee table with drawers, a full sized ping pong table, and an air hockey table, and said they weren't coming back, ar5e holes.
We had to get rid of that crap, as the house inspection was being done at the time. Also the guys that took all of the rest of the stuff three days before in the 20ft container, couldn't fit their two large ramps in the container, so they are still sitting on the driveway, at least they were handy for the furniture guys to use. I am over moving. In three months time I am going to pack a suitcase and get on a plane, we have to drive Marilyn and Custard up to Newark to be loaded onto a container for shipping home to Oz, but that's it. And I am not ccleaning anything else. |
I am gonna miss you guys Azzy, but when you show pictures of your morning coffee view I will help you pack.
