Just wasting your time... They aren't going to delete anything that doesn't violate the terms of use...

RKDinOKC 12-08-2015 09:23 PM

There is some actual interesting stuff on there besides cat videos. Some of my real and for true friends and relatives do post interesting things about their life and what they are doing. I have heard there was going to be a dislike button soon. I am really wanting to dislike some real BS posts.

I guess since I just ignore them all Facebook does not even know what side to push to me. I get total crap about how wonderful Clinton is or Trump is. Gack.

Good Hump day morning.

RKDinOKC 12-09-2015 05:48 AM

Obama, I thought they said Bama and have been waiting for pie all this time.

Porsche-poor 12-09-2015 07:24 AM

Jim Richards 12-09-2015 07:29 AM

We might make it to 70 this weekend. In mid-December. WTF?

Porsche-poor 12-09-2015 07:39 AM

Been like that here the last three days. Not bad temp wise, but hazy to foggy from evening to mid morning.

I get to meet with the CEO today. The Director of Nursing wants to make the flu shot mandatory. I said if you do, consider that my 30 days notice. Now the CEO wants to "discuss" it. Not much to discuss. Make everyone wear a mask during a flu outbreak if you are concerned about it spreading and make employees accountable for if they do get sick.

I am glad they offer the shot for those that want it but for me to get it they need to guarantee it will be 100% effective and give me at least two additional sick days because EVERY time I have had the flu shot that is how many days I have been violently sick with each one. I would take the flu over two days on the bathroom floor with a pillow.

Porsche-poor 12-09-2015 08:18 AM

Good luck on that. I to avoid a flu shot. I have had three and two out of the three I got the flu.

flipper35 12-09-2015 08:28 AM

They tell me it doesn't cause the flu every time I bring it up and I answer every singe time that I never claimed I get the flu, just that it makes me violently sick.

They are "concerned" for the residents, but two years ago we had 1 person who did not get the shot who got the flu. We had 10 who did get the shot come down with the flu but still no masks for everyone over there.

Porsche-poor 12-09-2015 08:35 AM

tell them if you get sick you promise to come cough on the CEO till he gets sick.

Jim Richards 12-09-2015 08:37 AM

I get the flu shot every year. My wife doesn't. I think people in the health care field should act appropriately to ensure they don't adversely impact the health of those they care for. I don't think a one-size-fits-all solution is appropriate. Just make sure people behave responsibly.
