She only stands about 8 inches high with about 4 inch legs...so there is no way for her to do her duty otherwise.

Glad we have power, a little bit of internet and the TV (Direct TV...no cable here) is still working (unlike in previous storms like this). Have plenty of food and propane if necessary.

I am not planning on getting out before midweek. I can telework if necessary as I have had to buy much better equipment at home than they provide at work (if internet hold up). The only internet here is via a Hughesnet dish which is very expensive, but slow and intermittent during the best of times...so that makes it tougher.

Stay warm.

I found out today that a high school classmate is a Federal Air Marshall. He is NOT one would have thought to be doing that job.

It seemed unusual that he is posting on FB his destinations.

Saw a girl from HS in a FB posted recent group pic. Didn't even recognize her. Only figured out who she was because I knew everyone else in the photo and there was a list of names.

Ran into a rabble rousing friend from HS a while back. Surprised to find he was a Policeman. Seemed kinda Clockwork Orange.

Instructed a police officer autocrossing his boxster. Had to show him shuffle steering is to keep your arms out of the way of the air bag, not because is was faster and that keeping hands and 9 and 3 unless absolutely necessary give more control.

It never looks like that here. Even we have more trees and hills than that. Or areas of wheat fields for miles. We don't have mountains in the distance around here. I have to go to the south or southwest to see mountains. We do have the worlds tallest hill in Oklahoma.

We watched "A new Hope #IV" last weekend, watched The Empire strikes back #V last night, will watch Return of the Jedi #VI today so we can watch the new one tonight.

Most of my friends have already seen it several times, whether in standard format, 3D, or in an IMAX theatre.

When VCR's first came out the most popular movies were Star Wars, A new hope, and Jaws. Think both were watched way more they then should have been.

In the first one Anakin's mom states he never had a father, said she just had him. Later when converting Anakin the Dark Lord told Anikin with the Dark Side you could create life. That he learned everything from his master before killing his master. Some think that Palpatine's master was able "after death" to create Anakin with a destiny to kill Palpatine and fulfill the prophecy.

Also Noticed Anakin started wearing all black while all the other Jedi were wearing brown and before he went to the dark side. Yet after dead went back his youth and the Jedi Uniform.

Haven't showed who the Dark Lord in VII is. Maybe Palpatine survived along with Vader's head. It does say out of the ashes.

Finally got around to installing new spark plugs and wires on the Suquinox today. They didn't look bad for 139,000 original miles. The gap was pretty wide, however at .070 when new are set to .060.

I've been putting it off as I figured the back 3 plugs would be a PIA to access but they weren't too bad.

Now to figure out what to make for supper.

We liked the new Star Wars. Gee I wonder if there will be a sequel?

I got the Elky washed and the new wheels mounted back on the 911 and got a test drive in. Perfect balance on the tires.

There are already directors hired for Star Wars VIII and Star Wars IX.

Besides they gotta answer all the new questions!

Warshed the Cayenne today. Looks better.

I agree 100%, s%^* sucks. They need to pass a law and outlaw that crap in the cities. Maybe Denver deserves it since that are in the mountains, but the rest of us should be free from frozen dihydrogen monoxide. That stuff is deadly.

Good Monday morning folks.

I finally have 5 bags of crushed aluminum cans. That should be worth enough to pay for the cost of the trip to the recycling center and still buy me lunch at a cheap lunch place.
