Morning all. I will not be on the site much today. Jury duty week. Oh joy. I hope I don't have to be downtown all week. Likely just a few days like the last time. My wife has never had to report for jury duty. This is my third county and I did one federal. The Feds just did not need me that week so that was just go back to work right away. I was on only one jury so far.
Since it is at the county courthouse I can't bring my pocket knife or cell phone. Fortunately I have some magazines I need to catch up with.

Stijn!!

Well I asked and cell phones are allowed in the jury room. We were required to be here at 8:00 and it is 9:00 and they are just now starting to call names. I suspect I will sit here most of the day bored to tears uncalled.

Mornin' all. Took the kids to see Lego Batman on Saturday. The boy and i liked it, the daughter took it too seriously.

We were given a ceiling fan of an F4-U Corsair and that was the most poorly engineered way to mount I have ever seen. There is a plate that goes on the box and the motor hangs from it. They have a slot that you can hang the motor from while you wire it. Nice feature except the hole in the plate isn't big enough for the wire nuts to go through.

Weee fun fun.

We went upstairs to a courtroom to be seated on a jury. Sat through a lot of it and then we broke for a 15 minute break that stretched to 30 minutes. The defendant decided to plead no contest. Back to the big jury pool room. Only there is no pool tables or places to swim.

My wife was called for jury duty a few times. One time she was one of a few that actually showed up. The judge dismissed them and issued a warrant for all those that didn't show up.

I have never been on a jury. I got called for Federal duty once and that amounted to calling in every night and waiting my number never did come up.

Golly playing government worker is boring. Just sitting here reading magazines and occasionally playing on the my phone. I keep moving around the room looking for a place that does NOT have some sniffling sneezing coughing sick person. I was sick once, I did not like it. I don't wanna do that again. They need a sick person isolation area.

Sound like they know him well

They sent two large groups home for the day but they have to come back tomorrow. Several people are thinking the might send us home and release us. I suspect that is a pipe dream.

At least the most received is the least problematic.

Kinda depressing, no gift cards, vacations, yatchs, private jets, home refinancing, car deals. Just health issues. With all the health problems they should have sent me some options to buy cheap prescriptions.

Stijn!!

Most of my recent spam is for viagra professional. That one made me laugh. Who would want a professional level? And Ciallis super. Or super duper hardwood. The Russian brides must have discovered I was married. They leave me alone.

After sitting around for hours and hours and hours and hours, they announce we can have a 20 minute break! WTF???

A break from what? I wish they would give me some images to Geo-reference, maybe some historical flight dates to look up. Anything but sitting and listening to stupid conversations from some of the people around me.

Maybe you use Viagra Pro if you are a Giglio.

Or maybe a "finish" carpenter that keeps losing his hammer.
