Only because I am so much like Rambo and Chuck Norris I survived the mall visit. It was tough. I was standing next to my wife at the checkout and the clerk ask me how I was doing. I told it was a horrible experience as I was at the mall. My wife elbowed me and and I replied what. She asked me a direct question and I gave her an honest answer.

She probably wouldn't like you if you were one of those metro-sexual guys that like to shop among other stereotypical feminine traits that go along with it.

The morning kong feeding went just like it is supposed to. Pepper took it and happily trotted off with it. Then worked until she got all of the dog food out, about 30 minutes, and brought it to me empty. She usually doesn't eat until evening...Interesting.

With my first Golden, Penny, I put her toys in one of those bags a liter of Crown Royal comes in and pulled the draw string closed. She would work and work until she got the toy out, then bring the empty bag and the toy so I could bag it up again. Sadly, she never tore up or chewed the bag so I didn't have an excuse to get another one.

My second Golden, Camber, just tore up the bag to get the toy out. Was afraid of turning into an alcoholic trying to keep her entertained that way.

The lady that cuts my hair was laughing how un-metro-sexual I am. The customer that was in just before me was a male that gets his har cut once a week, gets his nails and a pedicure at a nail salon, and always has the latest style clothes. He is a skinny little dude that goes to yoga and and even is a simi-pro dancer. And then there is me. I trim my beard once a week when I remember, I do take a shower every morning. Short and t-shirt and the t-shirt always has an event or logo of some sort on it. No one thinks I am a metro sexual for some reason. They are right. I can change my tire, or do an engine swap or clutch job. Arf Arf Arf Tim Taylor style!

If weekly haircuts and mani-pedis is a symptom of being metro-sexual I ain't got nuthin ta worry about.

Get my toenails professionally trimmed every 4 months. But that's be cause of the nail-in-foot followup checkups to make sure the aren't any pressure sore that might bring the MRSA back.

Also have to put a moisturizer on my legs and feet every other day because of that MRSA thing. So my hand are nice and soft as well...But only trim my fingernails every two to three weeks, basically went they start getting in the way of my typing.

But have never had a actual "Manicure" or "Pedicure" like at a beauty salon that I know of.

And one of the nice things about looking like I belong on Duck Dynasty or play in ZZTop is the lack of hair trimming. Do stick that little trimmer thing in my nose and ears every couple of weeks just so people don't accuse me of training my nose hair for my mustache or combing over my ear hair.

Richard, you and I will never be accused of being metrosexuals. We are very safe about that. I sometimes wonder what the waitresses thing when they seat us at lunch. Likely that those are two movie stars or Special Forces instructors. ;)

As long as they don't put stuff in our food that's not supposed to be there or mop the floor with it or anything like that I'm good.

When Pepper gets hungry of an evening she usually brings me her frisbee. Put her food in it. This evening she brought me the kong. Think she has taken a liken to that there kong thing to switch to bringing it too me so quickly.

Only if your are ignorant. If one was an idiot and did not know about the time change they would be in an hour early today. If they used their phone or electronic device as the alarm clock it would adjust and wake you at the correct time.

I was in the kitchen rinsing the coffee pot and my wife said I was going to be late to work and the mean boss was gonna be mad. I checked my watch and still 61 seconds to go. So I carefully cleaned out the coffee pot and walked into my office at 7:59:57 three whole seconds early! Cool, overtime pay! :rolleyes:

Most of my devices set the time automatically. Mrs Carrera takes care of the oven and the microwave and her 11,000 antique clocks. Well OK, not quite 11,000 but it is double digits. She likes antique clocks.

I take care of the HVAC thermostat, and the bathroom floor heater thermostats, and the sprinkler system.

Shhhh, It's supposed to be an excuse to be late whether it is spring or fall.

We just have the oven and microwave for digital and then two analog clocks.

It was foggy, rainy, misty all weekend and Emily still has to get her deer spoon sighted in after the new front blade was put in. Dad might have to take her out during the daytime this week.

What? In the fall if they forgot (or were stupid) they would be in an hour early.

One of the chicks that I used to work with actually admitted that she had been out drinking the night before on a Saturday night. She woke up and thought she was late to work on Monday so she got showered and dressed up for work and got to the office and saw no one was there. I lived just a mile away back then and happened to going in to get a tool to borrow and got there at the same time. I was mowing the yard at the time so I was in yard work clothes. I laughed pretty hard at the fact she got ready on a Sunday. She made me promise not to tell the rest of the crew and I didn't. She finally broke down and told the others about it on her own.

I have always been weird about time. There is just one correct time. My high school was two minutes and 30 seconds early. I tried to get the principal to set the clock to the right time and he said it was "school time" and of course I was a dumb high school kid and told him there is no such thing as school time. The USA uses Standard Time and I set my watch to WWVH on the short wave radio. Now my watch does that every night at midnight automatically.

Of course most people now days don't wear watches and just use the cell phone.

morning all. Got dada dropped off at the hospt for his c-scan. Now to wait for the call to come get him and work till I drop.

Dang David, you know how to party.


Hopefully the CT scan will be good news or at least not real bad news.

Hope they find an easy fix. Like wear looser underwear or something.
