I’m finished removing the old sound deadening material from the Z. I also replaced the failed electric fuel pump. It runs once again. :). Today, I’m going to work on getting rid of the surface rust that was around the driver/passenger foot wells and under the seats. Oh joy.
What year is your Z again?
I suggest you get it off the ceiling before it falls.
I just have to work fast!
Taking pics with the correct orientation with my iPad is a PITA. |

Looks in great shape for an Australian car. Aren't those hard to get in the USA?

25 year import rule applies I think.
Think I have a full size mattress in my house that is over 25 years old. Can I take the tag off of it?

Oh Joy. We are getting hammered by the hackers spoofing email addresses in our organization. Evidently that rule I made was stopping something. Understand the Guru at Proof Point itself is trying to figure it out.
It's kinda funny to me. They turn off my rule and within 15 minutes we start getting spoofed emails with attachment containg malicious content. Turn it back on and they stop immediately. |
Pure coincidence there RKD. The hackers just had lunch or break when you turned that rule on. Nothing more. :D
I don't believe in coincidence. We didn't have any malware hack problems until they started negotiating pricing with proofpoint. Then we suddenly started getting hacked more and more until "we just had to do something."
How's that for a paranoid conspiracy theory? |
a wet morning. Too early to tell if is going to be good despite the wetness.
Hey it is Friday.
Yea we had a flight scheduled for this morning. Ain't gonna happen. I don't know if it is a FAA rul or just a suggestion, but in general small aircraft are supposed to stay 20 miles from any thunderstorm. I don't wanna be in a thunderstorm in a car much less a Cessna. |

California need the rain as much as we do. Back east they are hogging all the extra rain. Way more than they want.
cloudy but dry here. Supposed to be a good weekend. Great in the fact its three days long!!!
Glen, I don't think it is an FAA rule, just one of those similar to not holding large conductive poles in the air during a lightning storm, or parasailing in a tornado.
I remember one of the "I Learned About Flying From That" stories in Flying magazine where the guy was diving at VNE just to minimize his climb rate when he got into a storm near the mountains. There must be something wrong in the world when Sea-Tac is dry and the rest of the US is wet. |
