Hope that means they are doing a thorough job looking over Jack's stuff.

PNW day here. Some rain, some sun, some more rain.

Seems some departments here at work only like to follow rules that are convenient to them. If that isn't rectified then I can't do my job properly. If I can't do my job I don't want to be here. Such is life.

I wish we had rain. Not sure what the national news is saying but we have lots of smoke. So much that they were delaying flights into SeaTac yesterday. Not supposed to let up till Wednesday at this point.

They are just waiting on the results of the ultrasound. At 12 he is getting slow and its hard to get him to walk very far.

Brent, it must be frustrating to work with people like that. I have worked at small family owned companies all my life, until I went into business with a partner. There was never any question on who was in charge, and how the work was to be done. I have never ever had a middle-manager or chain of command. The chain was one link, at the top only.

It is great to have a business partner that thinks just like I do and makes decisions just like I do.

We get along great. And not one single employee to have to deal with.

That is how we feel only worse when we see the forecast is clear. We fly off at $250 per hour, and the weather changes. Actually we love high thin overcast for mapping projects. With no shadows it is great to be able to see deep into areas that are normally dark with shadows. As long as we remember to change the exposure on the camera.

A local high school football team I follow (Orange Lutheran) is ranked #8 in the nation and #3 in California.
Unfortunately the #1 and #2 teams in the nation are also in their league (St. John Bosco and Mater Dei).
Talk about a tough league.

I was just doing the reconciliation of the credit card we use for the business. It was a very low balance this month, Not much over 2 grand. I have it set up to pay the statement balance on the day it is due automatically.

I happened to look over at the payment options on the statement. If we were stupid enough to pay just the minimum payment of $22 per month and never have a late payment it will only take 15 years and we would pay over 4 grand total. Or if we pay $72 per month it pays off in 3 years, and is only $2643. I like the pay it all off this month option a lot better and avoid the 13.65% interest rate. So far I have paid $0.00 on the credit card in the total time I have had it and plan to stay at that amount.

Some days my project feels like two steps forward, one step back. I think today it was more like one step forward, two steps back. Still, it beats working for a living.

Some cards have so many people that pay that minimum balance they have zero anual fee and will pay $500 and let you get cash back to get you to use their card. Think you may have to go buy something with and old card then pay it off with the new card, then pay that one off to get the $500 though.

When I worked nights would watch TV late nights on weekends when nothing was on. Remember seeing some relestate investment show where this guy was kiting credit cards to buy houses. Expensive houses too. He had two dresser drawers. One full off credit cards with no balance and the other with cards that had been charged. Explained he used the ones with no balance to pay off the ones with money charged on them. The huge number of cards in each drawer I figured it was a full time job just payin

That will solve some problems. But now you a used Cayman with PDK. If I had the space in the garage, I would have one. And if we can make some big dents in the 182 loan. And if....

Have intentionally not looked for any kind of replacement until the GTS is gone, and it ain't goin nowhere until the cash is in the bank. Would likely find something I just couldn't pass up, then the deal for the GTS would fall though and leave me with not enough garage.

It is wonderful weather here. 68 degrees and the sun is out. Clear blue skies. I sure wish we had a project to go fly now. Of course I want more projects to fly most of the time. I am just a money grubbing greedy capitalist.
