Just call up Griffiths, whip out your credit card, and spend a few weekends and a few grand, and you will be cool. Likely 3 grand or more. The hoses need to be replaced, and likely most of the components, so it will be expensive. I replaced all the hoses,, evaporator, and the receiver-dryer always gets replaced anyway. Of course my system was "working" just pitiful. I was at the Fort Worth parade and it was hot outside, and not much better inside. That was when I decided it was time to upgrade. With out hesitation or doubt, I will say it it the BEST upgrade I have done to my 911 in the 23 years I have owned it. To be able to drive it on hot days and be comfortable it wonderful. I am contemplating ordering the Griffiths upgraded evaporator blower, just to get more air blowing. It will be a hot one in Florida, and stupid hot in Palm Springs in July. 122 degrees is common out there. |

Do hear of guys that track and autocross them, I do not know why. Autocrossed the BMW X3 I had once. Just wanted to familiarize myself with how it handled. It did get a good time though. Was not something I would consider as a fun track vehicle. |

Welp, Hammered a chicken breast till it was all the same thickness. Rubbed it with black pepper, a little garlic and a little chili powder. Then put in on the smoker grill loaded with a mix of hickory and cherry chips for 4 minutes a side. Chopped it up and mixed with mayo while melting some Monterey Jack and Cheddar on a couple slices of whole wheat bread in the toaster oven on broil so the back side of the bread was still soft.. Then made it into a proper sammuch with lettuce and tomato. It was a yummy lunch! |

I am starting to plan for my trip to Florida next summer. A friend of mine has offered to let me stay the night in Big Pine Key with he had his wife. That is just 31 miles from Key West. I may do that depending on what the schedule for Parade is. I would miss something of Parade, but the Rally day is easy to skip for me. We always do tours on Rally day. This would just be a really long tour day on our own. Now I gotta buy a new helmet since my news one is more that 10 years old. Gotta have a newer Snell rating. I really want to do the DE at Serbing. Not many folks get to do Laguna Secca and Sebring both. |

Morning all. Don't even get me started again on the helmet issue. |
|
It is all the lawyers, and the idiots that sue when their old helmet did not protect them like a new one would have. Now the minimum is Snell SA, SAH, K or M 2005 or later. |

Better still I can't wear one and they won't even let me do a drivers skills day without one. Last guy I talked to got an ear full about how I wear one to drive my car to work everyday. |
