We are off to the PCA breakfast this morning. Gonna drive the 911. I can testify, the the AC fan blower works great, and the AC kicks ass in 25 degree weather. I figure the heater will be more use today.

I sat down to another long time PCA member at breakfast. He is an eye surgeon that lived in Tulsa until last month. He wife died recently and his kids live in Norman. He recently retired and moved down to Norman.

Anyway, I remember him from the days our region encompassed Tulsa. We talked a lot about the other old timers and if they were alive or dead, and the many doing well. He has a 64 356, a 71 914-6 he bought new, and a Cayman S. We enjoyed talking about the old days. He is happy to be back in our region.

The Allegra didn't srop itchy eyes and sinus headache. After taking Benadryl can't stay awake, but the itchy aches went away.

oh noooooo...that Benadryl seems to have mixed up my days and nights, or somehow got bit by a vampire without realizing and went all nocturnal. But didn't even watch a vampire movie or series in quite a while.

It was funny listening to the local Costa Rican band play Wish You Were Here by Pink Floyd.

Recently saw a band's video with a flute and bagpipes doing Pink Floyd. Was that the one"

Brought back memories...

First time I heard "The Wall" was at college in Stilwater, OK at a friends apartment. The walls in the apartment were cinder block and everyone was pretty much comfortably numb. That one part where they yell sure sounded like "in Stillwater!"

Not a good time to hear "we don't need no education."

Fiji speak for “may you have extra virgins and olive oil,” or something to that effect.

Jeff, is that a Bluetooth speaker of something that held earphones, or what?

I have one of the Bose cone shaped speakers that is Bluetooth and plays music from my phone and it sounds awesome. It is great for vacations and just setting in a room and playing music.

Back to Monday. We are getting more rain. A very light drizzle, .07 inch so far. It did not slow down my commute much.

The rain is not enough to make any dog tracks past the foot wipe rug right inside the back door. And Pepper was not wet enough to towel off. Even though she loves that.

Just glad it's already 41° today instead of below freezing like last week.

28* and snow later today. Snowed a little yesterday, enough that the iced road had some snow for traction, but then they plowed it down to smooth ice again. At least the dropped some gravel on it. Spent Saturday tossing salt down to get the ice loose from the concrete and then scrape it up with a flat shovel. At least the weather wasn't bad, Jacob and I were out in jeans and tennis shoes and I had my jacket unzipped. It took over 40# of salt to get the concrete part clear and get the gravel part where the ice would crush down to get some traction. Now it al has a light coating of snow.

Morning all. Just got internet back. Left work early Friday afternoon and made it home just in time for the fun to begin. We got 7.5" of snow Friday night into Saturday morning. Got that shoveled out of the driveway. It snowed another 4" last night. Got that shoveled out this morning. They say it will turn to rain later today. I can only hope.
