That's different.
Odered a new smoker box handle for my Charbroil Big Easy Smoker Roaster Grill. It is $5. The handle came out of the mounting bracket. It was just sweated in. Don't have or know a welder or welding person and the part is only $5, about as much as it would cost ri have welded so ordered one. Clicked on the tracking number and they sent it USPS. Seems for USPS to email me tracking information costs more money than the $5 shipping fee! Never had UPS or FedEx charge me more to track a package.

If they shipped it Priority mail, which is how we send many packages, the tracking is free. I am surprised the shipping was so cheap for something metal. USPS does have the flat rate they can ship up to 70 pounds for the same cost if it fits in the box. It is usually $7.95 to ship like that.

It is obvious those gulls don't know where that thing has been!
And a wooden one might work, but splinters would be a big sore spot.

Dang stupid architects.
One of the projects we flew last spring was delivered and all just fine. That client wants to add some new buildings to the area, and of course that means an architect is needed to figure out what will meet their needs. So the architect firm contacts me for a full resolution version of the image. Our client does not even want that as all they ever do is print samll versions of use it for the web or in brochures. The full image is a tiff, at 1.2 gigabytes. Not insane big, but pretty big. They want it to be sent via FTP. OK, no sweat. Well, any professional that works with aerial images should have software that opens a JPG2000 image, as that is "just 102 MB and virtually no compression artifacts. Not this group. They can't open the file I uploaded. So back to a tif file. Of course they are trying to open it in freaking PowerPoint and for some reason it chokes on the file. Maybe they can just use some crayons to draw what they need. Come on, PowerPoint! Gimme a break. I can make a JPG version but it will still choke their system.

Have not been sleeping well this week...Just woke up. It is few minutes to noon.
Missed waking early enough to drive to Dallas for breakfast with 25 to 30 928 owners. Like I could drive anyway. Glen, I don't think they really want full resolution, the requestor just doesn't know what your full resolution is. They are probably wanting a bit more than 300x500 pixels. Most phone stuff is 12 Megapixel any more and have to be scaled down for use on most internets stuff. They are probably want it bigger to make a powerpoint presentation, but not the giant files you guys use.

Does anyone know about calendar settings on androd phones? One of my clients called and his android phone is no longer syncing with any other devices with the same account. Everything except the calendar is syncing including mail and tasks.

The client sent me an email that specified send them the full res file. I supplied the client an resolution suitable for brochures, web and a file big enough to make a sharp 16x20. They wanted more. I sent it.
If they send me specs for what they want, I can send it.

Last weekend while waiting for my new fridge I bought 2 bags of ice from a local Sonic (drive thru burger joint) to keep the old fridge cool. It's kind of cruhed but is those 1/4 x 3/8 cylinders. When I got the new fridge had only used 1 of the bags to keep the dying fridge cool. Since getting new fridge have been using the Sonic ice in my drinks. Kinda like it!
Saved $100 by buying the new fridge without an ice maker. Never had an ice maker and have been filling trays and dumping cubes into a bin. So, cheaped out and didn't get an ice maker. Am comfortable with no ice maker and filling and freezing trays to make cubes. One of the fridge installers commented that he saw the Sonic ice and said it was the best for cold drinks. That's pretty much all I use ice for, drinks. May have to just start buying ice at Sonic for my drinks. In college met a girl that always got drinks at a Del Rancho because they had crushed ice. Then she would go to whatever other place she was hungry for. Sometimes wonder if she got a crushed icemaker for her home.

Richard, Braum's sells that same type of ice. We have an ice maker that only get used to fill my ice chest for autocross or road trips. I just drink a bottle of water that I have refilled from the tap. I have some bottles that are a couple of years old.

Grew up drinking fridge water so like chilled water. Got used to one of those Yeti style insulated cups that keeps the ice in a drink all day. Have a couple of quart bottles to chill water in the fridge with. Put ice and fridge water in a cup to keep close.
Checked electric usage that better shows difference between old fridge and new. Since Monday usage dropped from 60 to 20-23 kWh per day. That's like $3.50 a day

Not yet, but I have one waiting for me to install. My wife has been bugging me to get her one for quite some time, and I recently caved in and bought one. I need to run the electrical circuit for it. That’s going to mean cutting, patching and painting the wall. Ack. The plumbing should be a piece of cake...it just tees into the path from the toilet supply valve to the tank.

So, you got one with heated seat, water, and a dryer. Probably freshener too.
Would have to run a GFI as well. Seems worth it for the warmth, and the dryer. The bathroom outlet is on the wall between the sink and toilet room so should be easy peasy. With my health issues one should save me about $18 a week in paper. They gots lot of positive reviews. Which brand did you get?

I have never looked into those as an option for us. The water would HAVE to be heated up around here. In Oklahoma almost all the drinking water is from man made lakes. After a few days of cold weather the water flowing out of the faucet can be 40 degrees. I sure would not want that sprayed on my body.
I also wonder, how do you dry off? Toilet paper tends to almost dissolve (as it is designed to) with water. Paper towels would be sorta rough, and you really should not flush paper towels. I will admit to massive ignorance on the entire subject of bidets. In the end, for our needs we just will do what we have done all of our lives, and have no real issues.

The ones that heat the water have a tank used for the bidet function that heats the water. You can set how much.
The ones that heat the water also have a heated fan to dry with. Have not installed one yet, but their reviews are favorable. If there is an incident requiring a shower, after toweling I use TP to insure is clean and dry. Fold the TP twice (4 layers) to insure there is enough paper to dry before falling apart. Noticed since the car wreck with my current frequency every grocery trip now includes TP. Thinking a bidet seat will decrease the TP usage significantly.

My CPA called and wanted the amount of interest we paid on the loan for the 182. OK, easy enough, I sent an email to our loan officer. He sent the request to some other person at the bank, as he is a loan officer, not a gofer and I understand that, no sweat.
She evidently printed out two pieces of paper, and faxed them to herself, and then scanned them on a copier. The text was very light, and just at the minimum to be legible and they were 15 degrees off of square. Fortunately I have Photoshop, and I know how to use it. So open the file, crop and square it up, then adjust the curves to the maximum amount to get the light grey text to be black, and keep the whites white. Edit out our business information for privacy, and save that as a PDF to send to my CPA. He for sure has out TIN and address anyway, so it was not needed. I an not sure what I expected from the bank, but it was something better than I got. All that matters is that it is done and the CPA has it.

When faxes were just starting to be common for businesses one of our friends, who happened to be an engineer at the local TV station, called the receptionist and had her fax over a half dozen envelopes to another business so he didn't have to go back into tow to get some. Poor girl.
It is supposed to be nice tomorrow or 10" of snow. They haven't made up their mind yet.
