After treating my golden and house, invitied someone over to sniff. They didn't notice anything. I had gotten used to the odor. It got the fresh nose sniff of approval.

It has been over a month since getting furloughed. Filed for unemployement on the day was unemployed. After a month of no money I withdrew money to cover my bills from my rapidly dropping 401K. Only now was told 401k withdral counts as income and am no longer eligable for unemployement. Guessing am expected to lose my house and have my gas and electricity turned off before receiving unemployment.

If you thought nipple lube was bad...

Gwyneth Paltro besides releasing a candle scented like her coochie has now released one that smells like her orgasm. it is difficult to light then only stays lit for 7 seconds.
Don't know if the annoucement is real, something smells kinda fishy about it.

Well, my wife's netting idea is working so far. I suggested the screw type hose clamps to hold a large nut in place. We will see how well it holds up to the wind.

My wife's 90 year old aunt is in hospice and will not likely make it through the weekend. Some of my wife's cousins stopped here last night to visit for dinner and to visit. They live in Missouri, and we are pretty much on the way to El Reno. My wife had 21 cousins total with 5 different aunts. Some of those aunts have been mad and held a grudge for most of their life. It was amazing to hear some of the stories of the life long snubbing each other. One of the aunts is dying and one of the other aunts refused to come last night to say goodby. She will come to the funeral and everyone expects she will not want to stay more than 10 minutes after the funeral. She refused to say what happened so long ago ago. All of them were raised on farms, and most of the kids became farmers. Some went off into the real world.

Hope the gathering is Cronovirus free.

Every sibling or half sibling of mine, 5 total, has some sort of family relationship problems. Somebody is not talking to someone else for whatever reason. And it is the same with their kids. My oldest half sister i only met once for 2 minutes when I was in my 20's. And have never met her husband or any of her 4 kids.

10 of her cousins were there. Everyone got along great, and they talked about their various moms. The aunts had issues, but none were there, except the 90 year old dying one.

All in all, they were all glad to get together and talk of old times and catch up on what is going on with each other. Good visit for all.

Whoo Hooo. Today is a Porsche activity. Motors in the morning at the dealership. Free coffee and donuts and look at each other's cars and the new toys at the dealership. It is 68 degrees and overcast at the moment. Almost ideal weather for the event. I guess today is the summer solstice, the longest day of the year.

We decided to go to our favorite breakfast place this morning. I was hoping to, no that is the wrong word, talking myself into mowing. It rained .20 inches real early this morning and the yard is too wet to mow now. So maybe tomorrow if it does not rain more. I will need to put on the combine attachment and bale hay by Wednesday. Tuesday is track day so it ain't happening then.

My lawn is hibernating so I won’t mow for another month or so.

I’m hosting my mates for our weekly ‘meat and red wine night’ this evening. I’m cooking them a ‘mixed grill’ - steak, pork, lamb, snags, bacon, eggs, tomatoes and shrooms.

GH85Carrera 06-22-2020 06:02 AM

It is only two days into winter down there, and you will have grass to mow in just a month? I gets several months off after the first hard freeze to the first mowing of the season.

I went out yesterday evening to mow. It was dropping in temps, and not oppressive, so I got it mowed.

flipper35 06-22-2020 09:50 AM

I would rather mow than blow snow.

One of my friends went to medical school in Rochester NY. When he graduated, he was only sure he was moving south. They went looking for a new area to live in. They would drive south, and stop at the local big box hardware stores. He and his wife would ask, where are the snow blowers, and if they pointed to an aisle, they just left and went further south.

When they walked in and repeated the question and the employee replied "A what?" they decided it was safe. They ended up in Charleston, SC. No snow for them.

Golly what fun.

My wife's parents had a lot of old home videos from 8MM converted to VCR tape years ago. They realized no one has a VCR so they had that VCR tape converted to a DVD. 1.36 hours of video, in glamorous 320x480 S-Video. She had handed out copies to the other cousins and at the recent gathering everyone looked like a deer in the headlights when she asked if anyone of them watched the videos.

So I casually mentioned she should upload them to YouTube. Yea, right.

So I was tasked with figuring out how to convert the DVD to a file that I can upload to YouTube. Party on Garth!

It is uploaded. I likely will soon be a YouTube millionaire with all the hits it will get. In fact it will be interesting to see if any of the family ever do watch it. At least all they have to do is click the link I sent her and and any computer of cell phone will play it. If you have insomnia I can send you the link. 1.36 hours of facilitating home video. Not much better than watching kids run around in the back yard with the dogs, or blow out candles on a cake.

Did you know there was a 5:00 AM?

Dang, I thought the clock went from 10:30 PM to 7:15 AM instantly.

At Hallett at 7:30 and the track is hot.
Ready to have fun.
